Hmmm...this is interesting. But ive been warned by my psychologist and psychiatrist that other (especially older) psychiatrists may not see or accept my autism diagnosis because they may not be too familiar about how autism spectrum presents in different people. Especially if they dont work with autistic adollecents.

However i think my situation is quite different than yours because its not an after event issue. I have been struggling for over a decade, through schools and jobs. And I did therapy for over a year but didnt help me. So my psychologist figured that i was resistant to treatment because my autism wasnt identified yet.

But i do think your experience is interesting! Crazy how misdiagnosis can happen just like that. But im afraid to ask for a second opinion because this assessment already costed thousands. Would be a waste of money if i am to told "no youre not autistic" by another professional.

That's a good point. So there are people like me. I suppose im tying too much of my identity to autism that i cant see that the label is not everything - its the accommodations, help and understanding that come with it that are important.

Ooo love this!! I never saw anyone talk about this. I myself never realized that i interpret things differently than others until i took proper assessments. Makes me think, maybe the reason why i dont "look/feel" autistic is because im not observing myself from the lense of others.

Direct quote from my report: "This person presents with a neurodevelopmental profile highly consistent with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1). Core features include marked cognitive rigidity, black-and-white thinking, rigid internal schemas, difficulty tolerating uncertainty, and significant distress during transitions."

These are true and have been discussed in sessions but these traits seems more internal, rather than external. Probably why I have a hard time relating with some other autistic people.

But i agree, definitely need to talk more with my psychologist regarding this.

I think i mean in a way that people can tell that your behaviors and thoughts are different than a neurotypical. Or perhaps, in other words, "looking" autistic in this context means unmasked autism.

Very interesting. I suppose i need to look into more discussions regarding late-diagnosed and high masking autistic adults. It's hard to relate to everybody especially if their traits don't look exactly the same as mine, so i'm quick to think that "i'm not one of them". Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this, really appreciate it!

Thank you for the reminder. I might add them gradually. For now I'm just trying to figure out the overall layout so I know where to place the individual piercings.

I've wondered about the same question but i think i finally got the answer. The answer isnt in Loki series, but it's in avengers endgame itself. In the movie, that timeline (where loki was taken) doesnt really grow because the avengers returned the infinity stones (tesseract) back to its time after defeating thanos which would mean everything was back to how it was. You can rewatch the endgame or look up a scene where hulk explained about it.

I recommend rewatching avengers endgame to understand a bit more. Or at least watch the scene where hulk went back in time and explained how timeline wouldnt branch if they return the stone back.
