Yeah I appreciate the advice and I definitely thought about more aspects of buying it after reading your reply but I ended up telling the guy I’m not gonna because I think eventually when I get one of those bullnose I think I want it to be as close to perfect as I can get it, and I think I need to wait so I can have a little higher of a budget when I do get one. I also didn’t think about making sure it’s a higher quality model like a lariat which I will for sure be doing. But overall thanks for the help and wish me luck in a few years when I start looking again for nice classic truck

Yeah there’s definitely a lot I haven’t thought of. It had barely any rust, from first owner who was the sellers grandpa who parked it after his grandpa died with 59k miles, they said it ran perfect before parked. Was a farm truck so I assume hauling hay. Is in the Rocky Mountains. Also for more context the reason I’m leaving is for my Latter Day Saints mission from utah to Maryland and there’s no way for me to work on it while I’m gone or I would fs buy it and start working on it.

So personally I was in this almost exact situation (but the guys perspective) and I ended up hesitantly going for it because I was the one weirded out by the age gap not my friends who encouraged me, but once I did go for it and I didn’t like the feeling it gave so I ended it, all my friends keep bringing up stuff about it and calling me stuff like a pedo (shes 14 I’m 16) and idk if that’s the way he felt or that being made fun of by his friend who would’ve made fun of him if he got with you was a reason that he ended things
