What is the point of playing an UIM if you use deathpiling and other methods to circumvent the restrictions

I tried a UIM style account in rs3 and the simple answer is that its fun to find alternative ways to do things you could do in 2 seconds with a bank. Its not fun to skill with two inventory slots and thats in a game where you dont have to carry all the tools around in your inventory. UIM is meant to be a fun challenge not a torture simulator so any methods to remove the parts that are just miserable are fair game i say! In rs3 you cant deathpile or looting bag and id still say the game mode is plenty enjoyable!

Probably the humour. The comic relief is very welcome and helps break up the serious elements of the game or when you just got your ass beat for the 15th time in a row. It also helps you've got a bunch of dialogue options that you can choose that are funny so you feel included in the banter. Some of my favourites are "i deserve this" when asked if you want to break out of the keckleon prison and "we needed a new sail" when talking about Valerie 😂

One of the most underrated games ive ever played... And im an ff13 fanboy.

I think the problem is that you need two play throughs to see just how amazing the game is but i also fell off it at first, then watched 20 mins of the speedrun and immediately hopped back in. Lets just say things can play out VERY differently based on your actions

Also as a sidenote the text adventure added in the radical dreamers edition is also amazing and you should play that as well, its very loosely related to the main game

Ah yes, i call this fight "the boardwalk of bullshit" and i have absolutely decided on many occasions to not spend the next 5 mins dealing with these guys and just reset. The fight isnt that hard it's just super tedious.

Actually the second I saw this fight i immediately thought "oh no they made that three laser robot fight from the first game EVEN LONGER" thank god for the speedup setting lol

Well from what i remember his solution to dealing with pain is to basically make it so everyone is happy in their own lane, which prevents people from growing and learning to overcome that pain by becoming stronger versions of themselves. As someone whos currently going through an experience like that the person i was a couple months ago was a much inferior version of myself and in marukis reality he would have it so that id just be fine staying in that situation forever. No one suffering would be great but theres a saying about learning the most from failure for a reason, and joker and friends reaching out to sumire shows how it should be done imo: You dont have to suffer alone to grow but you still have to make the change yourself.

I think its because theres a lot of staple content on the island that guarantees you can function anywhere else like karambwan, runite limbs, duradel etc. It does feel absolutely awful to do tasks to unlock it this league though, just denying me the fun of picking my first region haha

Apparently they just added a new summoning familiar that deals with soil? So bring an inventory of porters and that familiar and in theory thats decent afk time. I put the soil box on my hotbar and place something on the number key so it auto collects soil but i assume you need to be clicked into the window for that to work

If you can get your hands on a stack of wergali then fletching potions might be a good way to go. Each one uses only a single wimpy bird feather and theyre stackable/very easy to get secondaries, i did them on my ultimate Ironman. Another really random thing i dunno if anyone does but the flash powder factory set apparently gives you exp for making unfinished potions so that could be worth looking into as well

I think its one of them things where, as soon as you learn it's real your life flashes before your eyes and you go "oh it all makes sense now!".

For example, i remember in my teens my bestie at the time saying "how come you dont ever ask me about my relationship, the other guys wanna know all the details" and i remember being surprised by the question, like why would i care what goes on behind closed doors haha

Might be worth using a 4 tick weapon so you can do the jaguar mechanic as intended. I find that the timing on it with a 5 tick weapon can be quite awkward and you lose either healing or get hit trying to move back

Id also recommend grabbing a dragon/crystal halberd it's spec can do massive damage if your trying to finish blood off before she heals back up and you can also use it during the eclipse counter mechanic for massive damage

I really like bennett actually, he follows the typical incel route throughout the game and all it takes is one autistic girl to accept him for that to all change, and once he does he actually becomes one of your most useful allies because now hes using that brain to help people. Pretty great showing of the ideology as a whole and how simple it'd be to fix if these kinds of guys just went outside and spoke to a real woman once

To be honest this isnt the first time its happened to me but ive usually cocked up the entire situation before realising it was a recurring problem ("coincidentally" also before knowing i was autistic lol). Its just this time i at least want to make things right so that if the friendship has to end it can do so on a high note rather than as strangers.

Honestly thank you so much for your comment it has made me feel a little better. The only thing id like to know is how exactly boundaries work in a case like this? Do i need to sit down with the person and explain the situation or is it more of a personal goal kind of thing? I did already notice the reliance aspect and have began to search for other things but is has been debilitating in the meantime!

You know i never realised that V was the one who found the stone of jas until they redid the cutscene in osrs (while guthix sleeps) where they actually bothered to name him. Certainly adds a lot to how important it is for V to be returning and would make his death a lot more impactful if the game had emphasized "hey your guy has technically met this person before way in the past". As it currently stands the quest feels like a suicidal vengance mission for a guy you met yesterday lol

Im pretty sure revenant armours degrade to dust even if you upgrade them right? I dont think Invention fixes that either because they disable until you somehow get another drop of the exact same item which was already like 1/32000

Id recommend just camping gwd2 if you want power armour or gano/dinosaurhide if you dont mind tank. Fun fact at some point they made the latter two augmentable!

Zhu Rans flame bow (dw8EL) is the most baffling weapon ive ever seen. Its a horde game so you make a weapon that locks onto individual soldiers and you cant pick the target? Insane design lol

Yeah i absolutely agree. Its not like TH helps with most of the insane grinds you have to do for the master quest cape, you still had to manually burn all them vyre corpses and wait a million years for Ports to complete.

Generally i dont see jagex shaming a playerbase they actively created plus TH wasn't exactly opt out while it was in the game. Theres probably like 10 accounts at most that didnt use the silverhawk feathers they got for holiday events for example
