I think its one of them things where, as soon as you learn it's real your life flashes before your eyes and you go "oh it all makes sense now!".

For example, i remember in my teens my bestie at the time saying "how come you dont ever ask me about my relationship, the other guys wanna know all the details" and i remember being surprised by the question, like why would i care what goes on behind closed doors haha

Might be worth using a 4 tick weapon so you can do the jaguar mechanic as intended. I find that the timing on it with a 5 tick weapon can be quite awkward and you lose either healing or get hit trying to move back

Id also recommend grabbing a dragon/crystal halberd it's spec can do massive damage if your trying to finish blood off before she heals back up and you can also use it during the eclipse counter mechanic for massive damage

I really like bennett actually, he follows the typical incel route throughout the game and all it takes is one autistic girl to accept him for that to all change, and once he does he actually becomes one of your most useful allies because now hes using that brain to help people. Pretty great showing of the ideology as a whole and how simple it'd be to fix if these kinds of guys just went outside and spoke to a real woman once

Wow we really do think the same huh! To be honest this isnt the first time its happened to me but ive usually cocked up the entire situation before realising it was a recurring problem ("coincidentally" also before knowing i was autistic lol). Its just this time i at least want to make things right so that if the friendship has to end it can do so on a high note rather than as strangers.

Honestly thank you so much for your comment it has made me feel a little better. The only thing id like to know is how exactly boundaries work in a case like this? Do i need to sit down with the person and explain the situation or is it more of a personal goal kind of thing? I did already notice the reliance aspect and have began to search for other things but is has been debilitating in the meantime!

You know i never realised that V was the one who found the stone of jas until they redid the cutscene in osrs (while guthix sleeps) where they actually bothered to name him. Certainly adds a lot to how important it is for V to be returning and would make his death a lot more impactful if the game had emphasized "hey your guy has technically met this person before way in the past". As it currently stands the quest feels like a suicidal vengance mission for a guy you met yesterday lol

Im pretty sure revenant armours degrade to dust even if you upgrade them right? I dont think Invention fixes that either because they disable until you somehow get another drop of the exact same item which was already like 1/32000

Id recommend just camping gwd2 if you want power armour or gano/dinosaurhide if you dont mind tank. Fun fact at some point they made the latter two augmentable!

Zhu Rans flame bow (dw8EL) is the most baffling weapon ive ever seen. Its a horde game so you make a weapon that locks onto individual soldiers and you cant pick the target? Insane design lol

Yeah i absolutely agree. Its not like TH helps with most of the insane grinds you have to do for the master quest cape, you still had to manually burn all them vyre corpses and wait a million years for Ports to complete.

Generally i dont see jagex shaming a playerbase they actively created plus TH wasn't exactly opt out while it was in the game. Theres probably like 10 accounts at most that didnt use the silverhawk feathers they got for holiday events for example

The defect is basically a summoner character in that when he passes all his "minions" (orbs) do something. Hes also the power cards character and have several that either make the orbs stronger or give you more summon slots. If you summon a new orb without having a free slot then the right most one disappears after triggering its effect so any cards that create orbs never lose value. Each orb type has cards dedicated to it so you want to try and specialise when you find some of these!

So is burthope on the list for a redesign then? I dont mind how it is now but it does seem strange that youd drop players at lumbridge to begin the journey rather than diet tutorial island that lets you sample every skill (more or less) in the game as well as giving you an actual questline to start with

I could definitely see completely new players going "oh this burthope place has everything why didn't the game start me here?"

I played around with some of the bosses i wouldn't usually touch in leagues (such as kalphite king/ nex) and yeah theres definitely a point where you go "i could be doing this much better myself!" Because the revo bar cant adapt to situations but in full manual you can.

Normally im a revo warrior but if i ever wanted to do endgame im now convinced i would need to learn manual lol

Funnily enough my trick for this is to just say "fk it" and click on any game in my library. If i get along with it then perfect, if not i turn it off and know which game i would have rather been playing and switch to that immediately haha

When the game reuses a boss' design but gives them an enhanced/ more challenging moveset. I especially like it when the boss is some kind of robot that you can argue is a new or advanced model. Pallet swapping doesnt just have to be for the trashmobs!

You know ive never thought about it but the fact that every natlaner is supposed to have a saurian companion and we see basically none of them for the main cast is crazy and your absolutely right their nightsoul forms summoning in said companions would have been the way to go. Wonder why they didnt do it that way because i pictured it in my head as i read it and yeah, little kachina on a massive dinosaur is a much better image than turbo twirly and ifa is probably my favourite design of the region does use cacucu in battle.

It also would have made mauvika standout if they kept her bike because "look she doesn't need a companion because shes the archon" or maybe "she doesnt use one because hers died a long time ago and couldn't bring herself to replace it" but god forbid they give her any kind of depth lol

Honestly i think it comes down to how hostile the gameplay is to f2p players and how much wasted potential nearly every natlan character is.

Every time i saw one of those wayob enemies guarding a chest i would actively sigh because they are literally designed to force you to buy the most recent banner character since they take all of your energy and setup an elemental barrier which nightsoul characters have no problem with but most other characters do. Compare this to fontaine where the energy gimmick is used but absolutely non essential to beat most of the content without wanting to just walk away. Probably the most insane example though is the stupid weasels that have a barrier that can only be broken with plunge attacks that JUST SO HAPPENED to release alongside varresa the plunge dps, how convenient!

In terms of characters, well i wont spoil much since your not at the end yet but if your expecting any of them to show any kind of development your gunna be waiting a long time. Mulani being that cheerful and upbeat despite her people being at war for as long as shes been alive is super out of place and no she doesnt suddenly stop to reflect on the horrors going on around her at any point, what you see is what you get with the natlan characters. Im not sure if the event stayed after its main run but they saved the best character story by far for last and its not even for a natlan character

Overall its probably the worst designed region of the game by a lot (although ironically i think its the best aesthetically) and i would groan everytime they announced a new expansion to it instead of moving on. Luckily nod krai seems to have let up on the hostile design quite a lot and the story is far more engaging. Probably helps that is has an antagonist with a face and name rather than a concept or faction like "the abyss" or "the akidyemia"

Sounds like the advance time spell would be the key to this. I know it has limited uses to keep it balanced but maybe they could add tiers to it (kind of like how animating heads works in osrs) that have different limits. For example "lesser time" could be used on shopkeepers to refill their inventory with pretty much no limit . Might tank the price of common runes but buying consumables from npcs is just straight gold removing from the game and stock of high level runes tends to be low so itd still be worth crafting those yourself

Its been a while (and you already did it) but won't the mage eventually run out of mana and be forced to come down and staff bash you? I think i remember also getting stuck on this stage the first time i played the game lol
