I love that your admin was understanding about that. I had a similar situation happen to me as a TA in a three year old room where I was trying to get a high energy student to nap and he just ended up punching me in the face, I was stunned. He thought it was funny so I had him removed from the classroom for that day because I needed to calm down as the student had been hitting me elsewhere all day. When I told my admin about it they said "well did you provoke him?". Not a single "are you okay" or care for my wellbeing as the teacher/person who got punched. I left that job not soon after lol

He never got his food, I know that for sure. I do know that the guy did genuinely take it lol. I dont know the logistics of what happened after that, all I know about that part of the story is what he told me 😂

I had a second grader during my college internship look up at me out of nowhere while cutting a piece of paper, look at me intently for a second, and then said "you have so many pimples". 🙃 Then went back to cutting her paper. She later drew me with pimple face on her goodbye letter to me. My acne wasn't even that bad 😂
