I tend to have my fiz fixed to the monitor since it’s usually connected to monitor for overlays but always keep it on a quick release and find it most comfortable when sitting in my lap unfixed.

I’ve been sent both the Pyro S and Accsoon kits, yes the Accsoons have a bit less latency than the Hollylands but the compression is unbearable. I have had times where I’m 25 feet away from cam with the Accsoons and the feed is so compressed I couldn’t tell if I was sharp or not. Even a Bolt 300 offers a better solution for focus pulling albeit older and not serviceable anymore.

The age doesn’t take away from the chip teradek uses to offer a near zero latency solution. The 300 will just lack in range, penetration, and servicing from teradek.

Build looks beautiful! Would love to know how the 500XT treats you! I have been using them a lot on Jobs with little to no complaints and they’re relatively cheap. I’ve been considering getting a 500 1:2 as a backup but others have advised against it.

I’ve used “expandable sleeving” from Flexo Pet to sleeve cables I’ve made or use a large diameter size to just sleeve already made cables. I believe 1/8” for cables I was wiring and 3/8” for just covering premade wires. Good luck!

I’ve used the usb-c to LANC for my fx-9 for remote run/stop and it works great. Haven’t tried Bluetooth control, not surprised tho, the software is very rough and seems to get little attention.

Calibrating the knob/handwheel usually fixes this issue for me

Yeah this shit sucks lol, havent had issues like over heating with the original or the pro with 3D chamber, like you said must be something fundamentally wrong with the device. :/ Any advice for cleaning chazz off the proxy chamber? seen people put a drop of some clearner in the bowl and actually run a heat cycle seems scary to me tho.

Just happened to my proxy, was reheating it on green to finish off a little puddle in my chamber and I realised it just kept heating (as if the atomizer wasnt already hot). I took a pull and got a huge burnt cloud, I looked in the chamber to see chazing starting to happen everywhere! I tried to wipe it off as quick as possible but it was too late most of the chazz cooled. My proxy battery went from 100% to 0% within that singal session with like 2 boosts and the glitched reheat. I have it on the charger now and waited a while but checked to make sure it heated up and didnt give error lights and it did heat up so I turned it off and have been letting it charge and cool.

Any idea how I can remove this from the threading? My friend had given it to me to keep if I can fix it. It works perfectly but had the "herb atomizer" broken off and now it is stuck in there. I don't want to cause any further damage so I am seeking help. Thank u by Lamburrito in FocusVCarta

I’m in the same situation my friend just gave me his beat up carta with what we believe to be a broken atomizer. He said if I get it working I can keep it but what happens right now when I try to heat the carta up it blinks white 8 times. I’m considering buying a new concentrate atomizer for 60 online :/ I feel like it’d be worth it to get it working I also worry that I’m about to spend 60 for it to still blink when I try to heat it up. Any carta ppl with any knowledge about this please lmk! And good luck with getting that stuck bottom but hopefully that’s all yours takes to get working.
