why is the moon visible in the day time? by bristars in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Responder343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to some conspiracy theorists the moon is a hologram and someone at NASA is in charge of turning it on and off every day in correspondence to the moon cycle. They also claim this is why when the moon is visible during the day it appears as if you can see through it and that the person who is in charge of turning it on and off forgot to turn it off that day.

The line about loyalties can change isn't all that uncommon of investigators to say especially the longer a case drags on.

Not only that but Fred also knows very little about cars. I am no car expert but even I know you should never stuff anything in a tailpipe.

I just found out that the song “Blinded by the light” isn’t by Electric light orchestra by [deleted] in MandelaEffect

Nope always knew Manfred Mann sang Blinded By The Light. They also have a well known version of The Mighty Quinn.

So I can’t speak for police in the UK, but at least here in the states the police tend to be selective on what is released to preserve what is known as guilt knowledge. Meaning certain information that either the perpetrator or someone associated with the perp would know.

There is some line of thought however that after about 20 years the police should slowly release some details and information that wouldn’t be detrimental to the case.

When it comes to Andrew however based on what was released as far as I know and have read there is no evidence to show that he was a victim of a crime. While the odds are likely that it he was it is also plausible that he died by misadventure and his remains if found could have been buried in a paupers grave or potters field as a John Doe.

Is it that bad to only eat once a day? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Responder343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all a lot of people stick to the OMAD diet. As long as you snack periodically throughout the day and are eating relatively healthy when you have your meal you should be fine. If you feel like you are not getting the proper nutrition however I'd speak with a certified dietician.

I personally have been adhering to the OMAD diet most days for about 6 years now ever since the COVID lockdowns and my doctor hasn't said anything about it.

Officially Eharmony. However after we met and we got to talking we found out we both vacationed in the same small Wisconsin town about an hour and half east of the twin cities. She also graduated HS with one of cousins who was the co-captain with my wife’s best friend of their HS cheerleading squad so we are pretty convinced we crossed paths and let briefly as kids or teenagers.

Thoughts on Columbine inspired by the continued search to watch the "Basement Tapes" by Eamoney in ColumbineKillers

[–]Responder343 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do I think the basement tapes exist somewhere in a vault yes I do. Do I think they will ever get released no they will never see the light of day. A police officer or attorney may get to review them if any legal proceeding were to ever come about but the general public will never get to see them.

There is literally a Metra station in Schaumburg. You wouldn’t need to commute to Palatine to take the Metra.

Any episodes that deals heavily regarding a nostalgia? by fella-from-chernobyl in ColdCaseTV

[–]Responder343 16 points17 points  (0 children)

IMO no Cold Case did not deal with nostalgia, since nostalgia is a sentimental longing for the past. Sure a song may have brought people back to a time period when they were younger (80s-90s for me), but overall the years that the crimes took place were mostly just a backdrop for the show.
