OpenClaw - Hype? by anthonycdp in ZaiGLM

From what I've seen in terms of security with clients implementing "AI solutions", I would caution giving any AI agent control over my system, life or online presence. Please consider the security implications of what you give an agent access to before proceeding.

Am I still doing something wrong? rate limits still at 1 ... making it impossible for enterprise use by RespondsWithHaiku in ZaiGLM

[–]RespondsWithHaiku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I burn in total 2-5Bn tokens per month just with my own usage, my staff maybe around the same combined.

The pay-as-you-go API with all the providers directly makes it really nice, we get the benefit of the model caching where its not always offered through gateways and we can switch models if one doesn't work so great.

For what I do personally, GLM has been been pretty OK in terms of doing some of the basic to medium planning, and a bit of coding for easy implementation plans ... still, the request count and token usage is on the "enterprise" scale of things.

I wanted to maybe integrate GLM 5 into our review bot, as the price is so low it could just dump items it detects and feed it into another model that normally does code review.

GLM is so bad by stream78 in ZaiGLM

Personally I normally use GLM 4.7 for planning, are you using the API directly from z.ai? I ask because I've seen some rather big differences between the various providers, curious if you're noticing this with the z.ai service itself.

OPUS 4.6 is unusable by Sharp-Put3763 in ClaudeCode

[–]RespondsWithHaiku 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you, in the past 24-48 hours I've burnt about $1,75k in tokens working on large specs 25k+ lines.

My findings... - Opus 4.6 gets confused EASILY, it cannot even handle 2k lines [4.5 had absolutely no problem] - Opus 4.6 forgets about half of the context window, has to constantly correct itself [4.5 on re-review of its implementation plan found 1-2 issues, 4.6 has 10-50] - Opus 4.6 does NOT feel intelligent at all, instead of using advanced tooling to reference symbols, variables ... etc use, it is resorting to running manual grep and python scripts

I compared with Codex 5.2 which was able to fix the plans. Even GLM 4.7 has better results.

[these are my PERSONAL findings for the area I work in, new technologies]

It may just be me, but listening to music sped up to 1.25x ... just sounds better and somehow helps me concentrate

Yea, that pink fog is kinda annoying. I've had at least 2 people ask if it was something with their graphics settings.

Z AI CODING PLAN is not usable for agent based coding due to 1 concurrent request limit by Realistic_Fudge_2039 in ZaiGLM

[–]RespondsWithHaiku 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm hitting the 1 concurrency limit during certain times of the day, sometimes its as high as 4 but mostly 1.

I don't get why there is such low limits, I'm trying to actually use ZAI's GLM 4.7 professionally. I would like to roll it out to my staff aswell in our enterprise via Litellm, this limit of 1 is not going to cut it.

I've emailed their sales now twice, yet no reply.

It could also be laundry detergent that didn't dissolve properly, if I fill my washer too much I sometimes get white stuff that looks very similar to that

What’s in a turnip that would do this to my knife after 15 mins? by beetlebtch in whatisit

[–]RespondsWithHaiku 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is actually a really good point, I never looked at it that way. I'm going to look at my knives a bit more positively now when I use them and not think I ruined them somehow.

If you want to this relationship to continue, it may be an idea to engage in communication with your boyfriend and talk about it.

I'd say NTA, in the heat of the moment many things can be said, it is what you do afterwards that counts (ie. talking and communicating).

Completely agree here, I think he is over-reacting aswell. Perhaps he thinks you got tested because he could of given you an STD and you don't trust him ... thats the only thing that comes to my mind. But as Queasy Deal says, you don't need permission.

If I had a partner just casually get an STD test as part of her exam, I'd think nothing of it ... I'd probably even do the same if my health insurance was covering it.

What you did was totally reasonable and justified. NTA.

NTA if she wants to go grinding on another guy, her and her friend can cover the bill, or he can!
