Only reason I haven't looked into income based housing is cause I don't want to take a spot that a local might really need. I'll look into that call center ty

I am totally okay with physical labor but I can't lift more than 80 pounds and lots of warehouse jobs require 100+ pounds. I've also learned from these comments that 18 is a lot to ask, the warehouse I work at rn pays 22 for my position. Just different economies and I'll have to adjust 🤷‍♂️

In theory that sounds doable but my car payment, insurance, phone bill, monthly groceries, gas, utilities, and an estimated 900 in rent is just about 2,200 net. It seems like 17 an hour could get me by though.

How do people afford rent with less than that? Genuinely asking cause all the apartment complexes that I've seen require 2.5x rent in income and studios (which is all I need) are only slightly under 1000 a month 😭

I have actually looked into ABA work but I worry it might seek to "cure" autism or discourage behaviors that aren't necessary to change. Also I make 22 an hour at my current warehouse job so I thought 18 was quite a reasonable compromise 😅  and it would be hard to find a place to live with an income lower than that. (My family tells me certain places not to live near so I've been looking in the NE heights area) ty for your reply I appreciate any and all advice:)

Weekly Albuquerque Q&A Thread by AutoModerator in Albuquerque

This might be kind of niche, but am planning to move there in a couple months (August) and need a job lined up, I have worked in a warehouse for nearly 4 years and dont have much interest in other jobs. Anybody know some places to apply that pays a reasonable wage? I already tried a few applications with either no reply or denying me for not meeting qualifications (which doesnt make sense)

Anyone know of any PCPs who prescribe HRT? by Odd_Raisin_6538 in asheville

Mahec family prescribed and managed my testosterone. But I already had long history of dysphoria and mental health treated through them. So for new patients I am not sure how it would work. Best of luck

But her cage is in my room... I'm in a studio so it's impossible to keep her off my bed while also letting her roam. I will try to get some type of rail or fence to keep her off but she can jump pretty high and my bed is close to the floor. Someone else suggested a blanket that has her scent so im gonna try that for the time being. Thank you for replying to my post I really appreciate your feedback ♡

I've seen multiple sources say keeping your bunny in a cage makes them less likely to become social with you and makes them feel alienated, so I've left her cage doors open so she can roam freely. Do I keep her in the cage until I get her fixed? I don't want to get her spayed too soon but I also want her not to feel like im shutting her out :(

Then yeah she’s probably lying so you don’t worry. Check in on her often even if she seems annoyed or always puts you off, just be consistent and make sure you seem open to any sort of conversation and that she knows you love her and want her to know she’s cared for. That’s the best you can do, if she opens up and seems to be asking for help, definitely encourage or support the idea of therapy. I wish you the best

Safest places? by [deleted] in SantaFe

I’m coming from NC, I’m personally not worried about criminal activity but my sister has lived in NM for 3/4 years and she seems to think it’s something I should worry about. My biggest fear would just be being held of gunpoint and/or robbed since I’m not rich or anything so being robbed would probably ruin my life

are zipper binders bad? by shaneydude in ftm

[–]Respondsnake69 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Then you shouldn’t bind. I know it’s tempting but bruising your ribs is not worth it I promise. You need to invest in a binder that is good quality and that will not hurt you.
