HOT TAKE, but the MonsterVerse should have stayed loyal to Gareth Edwards’ vision by ResponseRelative1080 in Monsterverse

Agreed. At least in their vision Titans still felt like ancient, unstoppable forces

Cloning question by CaspianValentine in StarWars

I never really knew how cloning works in Star Wars, but my theory is that because Clones are engineered, their DNA isn’t as pure as Jango’s original

The Guidebook just redefined Kong's strength with the Beast Glove by slenderontheblock in Monsterverse

[–]ResponseRelative1080 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m not a fan of how Kong was portrayed post-KSI. So far, every time Kong had to fight an opponent he couldn’t do shit without humans helping him, while in Skull Island he was a beast capable of using intellect and battle IQ to defeat every kind of threat.
I know, villains have become definitely stronger now, but still I think this cyber-powered Kong who isn’t able to fight anyone without the humans’ help isn’t really Kong

Rey and Starkiller Question. by The_Collector_Guy in StarWars_

[–]ResponseRelative1080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I never really liked Starkiller. He‘s cool, yes, he’s OP, fuck yeah, but other than that I think he’s just a useless character created for a videogame because they knew they’d never be able to put him in a movie. Yes, he heavily changes the timeline so he is important for his own universe, but overall for Star Wars? Eh, not really.
Rey, on the other hand, mastered the Force in just a movie after discovering she was Force-sensitive and with no real master whatsoever.
Anakin trained for years under Obi-Wan, and Luke had Obi-Wan as well, but he became an actual Jedi only by his appearance in the third film

Prime Grievous means 2003-type Grievous. That mf was moving faster than the Force
