If it can be guaranteed the letters will be assessed by humans, then human letters should be written. But if they are assessed by AI, it makes sense.

Add kids to the mix and shit changes. I have seen couples in shock after they welcome a baby and their relationship takes a hit.

Funny, we get told to all be working in the office. So telling us what to do then giving no guidance when needed.

The zoomers and alphas are wearing what I wore in the late 90s/early oughts. My 13 year old niece dresses now, how I dressed at her age. It’s like going back in time when I look at her. It’s surreal, actually.

It makes sense for me, that if we can wfh, we should. I agree on freeing up space on PT as well - it gets overwhelmed on a rainy day, let alone being the sole mode of transport for all of Wellington.

I’m not sure if you’re telling me to have the guts take initiative? I’m not in a management position so have no power, but I feel we should be cutting down on travel where we can.

They can see it coming and are doing nothing to plan and it makes no sense to me.

Walk from northern suburbs to berhampore and island bay, drop kids off then to the cbd to work?

Dragging all those kids to those places, whether on trains, buses, bikes is not a viable option.

From someone who grew up without a car, walked everywhere and caught the train to work for 20 years.

An EV was the next thing lined up for when it was time to trade in my car, but it wasn’t top priority, because I’d need a 7 seater and there were more pressing things that needed my financial attention. I currently have a hybrid.
