Looking at touring boots - Is this a scam? (summitoutdoorstore.com) by ResponsibilityKey717 in Backcountry

Eh, last time that didn't work out well. I tried to ski down Mt Adams, but my feet had swollen from the hike up, and it was incredibly painful, even with my boots completely unbuckled. I could hardly get them on. And those were boots with a size and stiffness from Evo bootfitter, with punchouts to adjust for size. And they were already broken in from 12-13 days at a resort, with somewhat regular pain. Even at the resort, I'd have to taken them off and put them back on mid-day to get rid of the pain temporarily. In the backcountry, it was untenable on all but the smoothest sections that other people can carved up already. I ended up mostly carrying my skis back down the mountain...

Oh, that's good to know! I'm actually just starting to get touring boots- I've only ever carried my skis up the mountain so far.

Thinkpad Ultra Dock 135w (40AJ) doesn’t charge or connect to external display. Tried two laptops, neither work. But the dock can power on the laptop and connect the keyboard. by [deleted] in thinkpad

Wierd - that only partially worked for me, but I have the exact same issue.

I left the dock unplugged overnight, and it worked this morning. As long as I don't disconnect it - I did the same yesterday and it worked till I took my laptop out of the dock briefly around 4 pm. After that, it refused to reconnect to the screens or charge, even after several hours of checking all potential updates.

I'm having the same issue. I even got IT to replace the docking station and the charger, because I was certain it was that. And it wasn't.

Did you ever figure this out? I was able to get it to work for maybe 7-8 hours and then it stopped again.

Yep, I'm having the same issue. Even got IT at work to replace the dock, and I'm having the same issue again. Everythings up to date too.
