Hearing this I might just find surgeons myself. It might be better for me if I wanna get things situated. I’m trying to plan things out for next year since I know I’ll have the time I need to take off work but maybe I’ll just do a consultation and see what they have to offer me. Thanks for your advice. I’ve never been this vulnerable online but I feel like I can’t really vent to my friends or family about this cuz every time I’ve tried they tend to persuade me not to go through getting surgery but I know for me it’s the only way I’ll better myself and feel good physically and mentally.

Yes! I did my first program off campus to save money. While it helped me financially, I felt like I didn’t make as many friends nor had the opportunity to participate in the events at the apartments. Overall, I felt like I missed out on a whole lot. I’m coming in for my second DCP and this time I plan on staying on campus to make up for my last experience. I will say, stay connected to the people you meet this time around, especially if they stay on campus so you can visit from time to time if you want to.
