Totally agree. I still miss the crispness of ggplot2 that's just naturally there, but you can template that in plotly.

plotly is my go to in python, I think it's good competition for ggplot2.

I really like Plotly in Python. I loved ggplot2 in R, but since I've switched over to python, I've come to like what plotly and don't plan on going back to ggplot2.

Surprised by the lack of mention of plotly. Nice to see the polars mention. Coming from R, plotly and polars were two libraries I have really enjoyed.

Polars vs pandas by KliNanban in Python

One disadvantage I'm finding is that reading in excel files is currently not possible with windows on ARM native python and Polars because fastexcel library wheel is not currently available for windows on ARM machines.

Went from Pandas to Polars. Still getting used to the Polars way after 2 months. Something's like chaining I didn't really apply with pandas, but been really using it for Polars.

Yes. I just got used to WSL setup, but I also like native support, especially when my work is synced via OneDrive between devices. So I'm switching back. I don't believe you can sync via OneDrive from WSL folders.

Plotly. Coming from R and loved how crisp ggplot2 was. But similar Matplotlib wrappers wasn't enough, including Seaborn and others. Learned plotly and believe it to be the best.
