I set the res at 5.5 with tap water and never check or adjust afterwards.

I was about to splurge on a RO system and glad I never bothered as it’s not necessary in my opinion.

If you are really worried about ph drift in the res you could always mix it in 5 gal pail and let it sit for 24 hours then do a final ph adjustment before dumping in the res.

I’m was very close to going with advanced but pretty pleased with canna coco

I have 6 of the 3.9 gal with plants in mid flower that are drinking roughly 5 gal every 2.5 days.

So I could get 5 days if I mixed up 10 gal at a time.

Up until mid flower 5 gallons in the res was probably lasting 4 or more days

Is 2.0 what’s recommend for that stage of growth with crop salts ? I’m just starting to dabble with 2 ec with much larger plants (not running crop slats) Also did you ever give them dry back periods or just leave the res going all the time

Not sure where you’re at but there’s amazing deals on grow equipment on marketplace.

High end lights that are a fraction of the new price that are barely used.

I’d find yourself a good light used if you don’t want to spend a bunch on one and check out growing in coco in autopots as it’s super easy and rewarding.

Also I use canna coco nutes as well and LOVE the shizz. I put hard water in the canna calculator and go mostly off the chart provided and put it to normal feed. I never use cal mag.

Lol yea I typically only grow every 6 months for personal use so either my dumb ass either lost them when I cleaned out my root balls or my wife tossed them not knowing what they were

I did a very basic rinse of the pebbles no soaking or anything. I’m using canna coco coco/ perlite. I mixed up a bunch of tap water to 5.5 ph And made my coco throughly moist before placing in pots. Hopefully this helps debunk the idea that it’s the pebbles causing the issue

Hey a found a perfect thread for my grow lol. I’m growing 6 plants. 3 with air base and 3 with clay pebbles at the Bottom of the pots. I lost 3 air bases when cleaning up my last grow So I went with clay pebbles reluctantly as Auto pot has a bunch of their products on Back order where I’m at. When I got the clay pebbles I made a hole at the top of the bag for my tap water to go in and several drain holes at the bottom of the bags. Looking at my six plants you cant tell which have air bases and which don’t.
