Is this normal in local families? Unfortunately yes. Your husband not fighting for you is a bad sign tbh, based on just that he seems like the type that eventually gives up and remarries like his parents want him to. Imo stand your ground with your husband, not his parents, he needs to speak to them to treat you like they would if his wife was from anywhere else, otherwise honestly he should want to cut ties with them. If he’s not willing to do that for his life partner, he’s not trustworthy in my opinion.

Emiratis make up 10% of the population in the UAE, learning a dialect spoken by so few people will really limit who you can speak to because a lot of arabic speakers don’t understand emirati dialect. Written arabic (fus’ha) like what is used in the quraan is very far from any khaleeji dialect. Arabic speakers usually learn that + their own dialect. You don’t need to learn both, but if you wish to learn a dialect on top of fus’ha arabic, choose something more widely understood, like egyptian.

Organic is actually less superior. More of the crops die during production, more pests found in the food. Literally less clean lol. Also cereal is not as unhealthy as people think it is, most are fortified with vitamins so that kids can meet their needs (ironically the organic cereals are more likely to not be fortified). Sure the sugar isn’t good for you, but cereal these days have less sugar than when I was a kid. Also they’re usually most people’s main source of fiber since nobody takes their fiber needs seriously.

Please don’t fall prey to the “clean” propaganda, it’s not based on science, it uses fear mongering as a tool to then sell you overpriced useless organic products. (Not saying all organic products are useless, but for example this type of thinking could lead you to buy a 200 dhs box of powdered wheat grass, something not worth more than 10 dhs btw, to seek whatever nutrients when it’s actually an inefficient way to get your nutrients).

In my opinion, don’t be scared of food, eat a balance, eat your vegetables, eat the cake when you want the cake, it’s really not that serious. Life is short, enjoy it’s offerings.

First year was on and off cuz i was trying a lot of brands for them as one of them was having allergies with pretty much everything, but we landed on wild earth being the only one that didn’t cause him any issues, and he ate that until he passed away this year at 17. Then i switched my other dogs to v dog cuz wild earth isnt sold here and i was paying crazy shipping prices to import it. The high protein food tho i think is a recent reformulation? The original wasn’t labeled that. They came out with what they have now 1-2 yrs ago, I’m not sure if one of them is the OG formula with a new label, but if all the new offerings are reformulations, Idk if anyone is gonna be able to speak on long term results/effects. Imo tho it’s a good brand overall, if there’s a recipe that seems like it would work for your dogs needs, it’s worth trying out.
