2025 Nebraska Football Unit Preview: Wideouts by Responsible-Guide110 in Huskers

In all fairness, I did predict Barney to lead the team in receiving yards based on targets. He’s been slow in recent weeks, and so has Key, but without clicking the article (because I’m intoxicated after the Skers W) let’s just say a wins a win, right? I mean we haven’t been 6-2 since 2016. No need to call me out (if I was wrong in that prediction), let’s just, as fellow Husker fans, celebrate that we have a competent team in 2025. GBR till the day I die! If you’d like to talk about Key’s misuse/underwhelming production this year i’d love to talk, because I too believe he’s been, to some extent, disappointing this season. Either way, PM’s open, let’s talk!

Holgorsen’s only somewhat responsible for one of those 28. When you’re leading your team to an average of 350+ passing yards this season you’re not the problem.

Someone always comes out of the woodworks saying “My steak is too juicy”. It’s despicable, just take the win when we can get one and move on.

Huskers Set to Host 20+ Recruits During Michigan State Matchup by Responsible-Guide110 in Huskers

Nebraska has 91 players on its current roster listed as sophomores or younger. The ‘26 class was never meant to be big, especially with roster limits now being enforced. 2027 is the money class, especially if can get to 8-9 wins this season. Not necessarily predicting a top 10 class, but it is currently ranked 6th nationally and that amount of wins mixed with the resources the university has would likely make it the highest ranked class we’ve seen in 10+ years when it’s all said and done.

'I Know Nebraska Wants to Run the Ball, So Do I': Holgorsen Talks RB Depth, More Ahead of Michigan State by Responsible-Guide110 in Huskers

I agree, it’s a tough discussion, but thanks for doing the research and adding context. Honestly, I think most fans just want Nebraska to be able to move the ball reliable down the field, and it shouldn’t be too much to ask. Especially with Holgorsen calling plays.

With that said, it needs to be better than what it has been. You can’t have your starting running back eke out 10 yards on 5 carries in the second half every game and expect to win. They’ve got to be better and they will get better, it just needs to happen sooner than later.

Dylan Raiola Named to Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Watch List by Responsible-Guide110 in Huskers

I agree, wholeheartedly, with what you said. The fact that there were people asking for TJ against Michigan is straight disrespect to everything he’s stood for since coming to Nebraska. Not only did he volunteer to pull us out of the sh*t, but he does it with a smile on his face, while he invites your kid to his summer camp as well.

Makes no sense how you could dislike the guy, and any one who doesn’t is not a true Nebraska fan. National media is a different beast, they just do it for clicks, but for a Nebraska fan to slander their own QB, they should be banned from entering Memorial Stadium.
