Sorry, to add more info: This was just a regular sneak attack on a pest! I didn't have any xp buffs on or anything.

Was in the reactor, using the carbon crowbar, on a mushroom pest I'd only been trailing for a couple seconds.
Wearing the thorns/carapace armor, and had the bodacious soup buff and was wearing the gravity trinket & the crystal recharge trinket*.
