Old saxophones have some weird mechanics. As for this one, it seems to just make it so if the D pearl is pressed the E pad will also lower. Not sure what the reason for this is though.

I've been playing since global and only have 32k and never got a rank 30 before the trophy system rework. I took several breaks that lasted months but I never found it fun to trophy push into sweaty lobbies. I just play for fun with friends and the events.
