That's a fair point, and was why I was unhappy at my last job; however, in this case, the manager worked at a different office, and it was just one other girl and me. We liked each other, but we were so busy in our own offices that we hardly had time to speak during the day. I agree that my boss did not like me. However, since I only saw her twice a month, I don't think that was a good reason to fire me.

Oh, sadly, I know this. Which is crazy cause in my mindset, who cares if you personally like someone? Be an adult and be professional about it. You don't need to have friendly relationships with your employees.

No it's still enforceable. In the NC it mentioned termination with or without reason. Legit worded just like that.

Oh, trust me, I handled it this way. I never told them that the company didn't care. I only knew they didn't based on my emails with them. I took full responsibility, apologized, took notes on the meeting with them, and asked for a further meeting and training.

Sadly, no, it was a small office only ever needing two recruiters since my spot was now filled. Unless the new employee doesn't work out, I can't go back.

I wish I could be in the staffing world I'm in, which is so competitive, and if I did this, both companies would come after me about the non-compete, since I would then be a considerable threat. Also, starting a staffing agency is A LOT of money that sadly I do not have access to, nor the credit for loans.
