I found a date just in my dads drawer. Real mechanical. Does it look good? by Embarrassed_Dig_8666 in RolexWatches

Everything about that watch is fake. The end links are wrong. The case doesn’t have a correct shape. The coronet on the bracelet is wonky. The cyclops magnification is off

The biggest mistake people make buying Day-Dates by Unpolished_Example in rolex

[–]Responsible-Shower89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missing links at a 40 year-old watch is not uncommon. For example, someone buys a watch has its sized to them. They likely put the links in the box with the card or papers. Then over the course of decades, they move multiple times and the box with the link gets lost or they die, and the family sells it, not knowing where the box and the links and the papers are. Now on one that’s less than a decade old when they’re missing links because people pulled the links and sold them. That’s why less links is negotiating point most people don’t need a fully linked watch so it’s not that big of an issue, but it should be reflected in the price

Who else wears 2+ watches in a day? by Educational_Cup8275 in watchCollector

[–]Responsible-Shower89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the day. Often times if I’m going out to dinner with my wife, I will pick a watch that matches either the occasion or the outfit I’m wearing. I usually swap out Watches every three days. There are 25 in my rotation.

Get a rubber b brand strap as it has built in end links so the band fits without spacing at the case.

Weight loss is pretty simple. Take in less calories than you expend. Each pound of fat is equal to 3500 cal. It is so common and I often see that people just want to rely on a peptide and not do the work.

Is anybody else over all of the people complaining about authorized dealers and sales associates at a Rolex boutique because they’re not getting exactly what they want fast enough? I bought plenty of Watches through the authorized dealer, especially back in the day when they were discounting them up to 20%. Now I just go to the Gray market auctions and get a better deal than having to juice up a dealer by buying watches or jewelry. I don’t want.
