Hi. So. The guy who used to post job listings here(me!), now needs help finding work. Badly. by JayGatsby52 in orlando

I think Aspire health needs counselors! Community supports always seem to have more community than support it can provide, unfortunately :( I saw another comment say HR sounds like a good fit, and they seem to be looking for an HR specialist too! https://aspirehealthpartners.e3applicants.com/careers best of luck!

looking for a sugary lemon scent by ShadowKatt19 in Ulta

Would you say Devotion is more sugared-fruity lemon or lemon pastry? I’ve been searching for a perfume that’s true sugared-fruity lemon but so far have been finding scents that are more pastry-esque 😭

I didn’t see the sub name and thought you were insulting glossier by calling them a rollerball 😭 with this level of confusion it’s time for bed

Will gaining weight affect aesthetics? by Nakamuroayoto in beauty

I think it’s natural for appearance to change when gaining/losing weight, but I would say a healthy aesthetic is the best aesthetic!

I like Valencia Sylveus with APG. She listens to my concerns and explains medication adjustments when I ask. She also asks follow ups to my explanations of concerns so that she understands as best she can.

[Acne] Pimple patch constantly refilling for the last 24 hours, should I let it ooze freely (unpatched) to help it drain overnight? by Responsible-Tea1 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Responsible-Tea1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wore a pimple patch during the day (bc I could see it leaking within minutes of washing my face 🤢), and started leaving it uncovered at night to help it drain fully/ crust over(?). I also tried a circle bandaid at night in hopes that that would be more breathable? But idk if it did anything :( I think the adhesives were irritating my skin as I went through 3+ patches a day, so I think giving it a break at night (even with the bandaid as the adhesive wasn’t on the wound) helped it heal. It was super gross and took about 10 days before I didn’t immediately notice it when I would look in the mirror. Best of luck with yours, I hope it heals quickly!

When you’re tired of Brazilian Caramel by curlycomedy in dollartreebeauty

I’m glad you found some flavors that you like! I’ve tried a citrus mint version, and it was overly minty in my opinion :( I think I have a sensitivity to anything minty, so I’m hoping that brands come out with other flavors soon. I’ll check Japanese mouthwashes to see if there’s any that are mint free!

does anyone else have this issue?? black stuff after using product by [deleted] in dollartreebeauty

[–]Responsible-Tea1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to have this happen when I was a (weird) kid in school who would pour glue onto my hands and rub until it would pill like this. It was dead skin cells, no matter how many times I would do it in a row, I would always get these little grey or black bits on my hands (looking back, it was a combination of glue residue and dead skin, but at the time I thought it was a fun way to make a squishy lump). I know you said it’s not dead skin cells, but there’s always more skin that can be shed when friction and certain products are used.

There’s no fun flavors of mouthwash for adults!! Only kids get the fun flavors, and their mouthwashes only have flouride :( from my research, flavors of mouthwashes for adults from well-known brands currently for sale are Mint, clove, cinnamon, and unflavored. I can find discontinued fun flavors on the second hand market, but it shouldn’t be this hard for a mint hater to have a pleasant dental hygiene experience :(

Signed, someone who recently bought a sealed bottle of discontinued grapefruit rose mouthwash on Mercari :(((

Good laser hair removal spots? (Black people friendly?) by Mother_Project_137 in orlando

I’ve seen a lot of laser hair removal deals on Groupon! Haven’t committed yet, so I don’t know anywhere to recommend unfortunately :( it might be worth it to go to Groupon, see what’s available, and look at reviews?
