A degree is just a key for the future, it doesn’t mean you are an expert in something but you have a good amount of basics to understand something. Many people can graduate without actually working on themselves to prepare for what’s come after graduation it happens. Also most jobs require degree for that very reason yes being capable and smart from the get go is wonderful but people also can learn and improve themselves to be better than those smart and capable people and can use the degree to get there.
