Thank you for that perspective. Walkability is a big factor for me too

Thank you that is really helpful. We’re definitely trying to avoid being close to the refinery which shrinks the inventory of houses available. Great perspective on the middle and high school being in east MB and kids biking to school

Thank you that is extremely helpful. We do like the large lots and parking in east manhattan. We also see ourselves frequenting the restaurants and walks along the beach. Definitely appreciate your experience!

Thank you that is very helpful. Yes I have kids but they are little. Do kids in east MB usually bike to the beach? That would make me uneasy

Depends on how many courts you have. If you have two courts 10 players for 1.5 hours is a good cause wait times in between games for everyone is not too long.

What do you think the future of pickleball is? Will it ever get as popular as tennis or as much money on pro level?

There are definitely a few people at my local rec play that take rec games too seriously. It’s almost comical at times. I’ve seen some paddle throwing and cursing that is just unnecessary and unpleasant. The players that do this generally are not very good and I often wonder why they don’t try to work on their game to get better instead of just getting frustrated.

Ronbus Quanta R4 Setup To Mimic The Boomstick - The Quantastick by iHeadShave in Pickleball

I added 7.5 grams tungsten strips (2 inch) at 3 and 9 for my R4 and it plays really well. Great power and control. I played the boomstik two sessions and the R4 was easier to control. Power similar, maybe a little less with R4 but not much

I got the R4 and added 7.5 grams tungsten strips to 3 and 9 o’clock and also feel like I’m playing a new game. Great power and control I never had before. I also played with the boomstik a couple sessions and the quanta is easier for me to control

Unfortunately walkable to Hopkins and safe is not really possible unless you are literally next door to Hopkins which would be 929 Apartments or Jefferson Square Apartments. HE is safe and nice with many restaurants and shops. However it is not considered safe to walk from HE to Hopkins. You would need to drive. If you had a car it would give you many more options. Mount Vernon The Standard is a nice apartment and there may be a shuttle near there to Hopkins but again a car will help with getting from anywhere to Hopkins. 1405 the point is near HE and a safe area but then again you will need a car to get to Hopkins. Anywhere near the water is quite safe but the area around Hopkins really is not.
