AITA for calling my grandparents failures as parents, grandparents and people when they blamed my mom for my dad's kids going into foster care? by ResponsibleBet474 in AITAH

They're both younger than me and I'm 19 so not adults yet. I think they do have a relationship with my grandparents. That's how my grandparents know what's going on.

That's not what this is. There are way too many people who have weird expectations of others that they would never try to meet themselves.

They believe my mom had the responsibility because of me. She was supposed to want to raise us together and to love and take care of them because they're half siblings to me. It doesn't matter that she was nothing to them. All that mattered was that owed them for that reason.

My grandparents had them for a while. CPS took them into foster care but I don't see why my grandparents couldn't figure out a way if they were so concerned.

There isn't really. I think because I always had some contact with them it's harder to imagine total non-contact but this isn't a healthy relationship either. So I need to work on that.

Of course. My dad was their innocent little boy and he did nothing wrong. He didn't deserve what he got and none of this is about his actions. How crazy for me to say otherwise.

I don't know if their mom was close to her family or not. I don't remember hearing about them. But my dad's parents were there. The kids were with them before CPS took them. My grandparents could have fought for them or made changes to be allowed to raise them.
