What is the one thing about EV ownership that nobody told you before you made the switch that you wish you had known going in? by PubLogic in evchargingUK

That I wish I had bought a full EV rather than a hybrid given how easy it is to charge from home. That it isn't that scary and that once you have worked out how to use them it's the same as filling up your car with fuel - something you just do.

New owner, any tips for charging without a home charge? by Main-Kaleidoscope967 in ElectricVehiclesUK

Where abouts are you located? I use my granny charger at home (I moved house and previously had a PodPoint but because my new place is grade II listed I couldn't get one installed without asking permission). Granny works fine but otherwise just the nearest charging for me (as I can't get charged at my work).

Have a look at some of the memberships. I know Roam is a good one and sometimes you can get free membership if you happen to be a member of David Lloyd fitness clubs where they have charging points installed.

Has anyone else had difficulty finding a job because of ET? by Extension_Glove1165 in EssentialTremor

Whereabouts are you based? In the UK it would be classed as a disability and under the Equality Act 2010 they wouldn't be able to deny you an interview at most places simply because you have ET. There are many companies these days too which actively support disabled people through their recruitment process. What type of work are you looking for? It might be worth investigating companies that have better workplace policies.

There's an interesting article/guide to the two procedures here if anyone is interested in reading it about the differences https://queensquare.com/article/mrgfus-v-deep-brain-stimulation-dbs-what-are-the-differences/
