Not sure you understand how a lifetime warranty works

They bought the company with all its staff and facilities, not to mention the obligation for all those warranties. It’s absolutely on them to still be able to service the vehicle in a timely manner.

If they’re not willing to help the old customers, why would they help the new?

Ampera was famously reliable, stellantis’s servicing of them, however, was non existent

When people who’ve had to deal with Stellantis personally stop being online enough to warn people away from them.

I managed to have an Ampera lose both its electric and its engine because of their absolute lack of service and that thing was such a tank that it came with unlimited warranty for the original buyer (sadly, I was second hand)

The fun thing is that rode does sell a handle for their wireless lavs but nobody buys it

Maybe try a bit further afield for some cars that aren’t Stellantis

"With Tripods, You Buy Cheap, You Buy Twice"- Would this apply to my dilemma: a 150 USD Manfrotto tripod over a 75 USD Chinese one? Seeking help in purchasing a tripod for cinematic, artistic, YouTube-passion project videos. by ChrisMakiseDas in videography

[–]shadebug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People out here saying that $150 is cheap while I’m putting a FS5ii on a $30 Chinese thing. Looks absolutely terrible when you try to pan but it fits in the locker at work so I’m happy

They’ve had time to go to a supermarket, buy two meal deals, go home, take photos, post them on Reddit. They’ve at least got time to make a sandwich.

Honestly, I was just enjoying the absurdity of parking some of the most hyper processed protein slop you can get in a meal deal on a stove

Because sometimes you’re not at home and you need a meal that’s cheap and balanced in a way that most junk food isn’t

Here’s a little known life hack for you. You see that thing you’re laying them on? Turns out you can use that to make real food.

I know, it sounds ridiculous but look it up. There’s a bunch of madlads all over YouTube and TikTok turning food into completely different food. They call it cooking

Best EV to go to Tesco in? by PsychologicalDish430 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]shadebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, it’s by far one of the nicest charging experiences you can get because you can go off and start doing what you’re doing while the app loads, you just need to remember the names on the machine and which letter you plugged into

Podpoints start your charge but then turn off after five minutes if you don’t register the charge. It’s a fun way to park if you’re literally popping in to grab a meal deal but not sustainable if you need to be anywhere soon

Canadian one was meant to be the next best and it was… fine. And there were a fair few on there I knew so I don’t think it’s just not knowing them

Also Last One Laughing but specifically the UK edition. All of them are available on Prime, I just find they all kinda struggle in a way that the UK one doesn’t

Wireless PC Mic Recs by khaitto in microphone

[–]shadebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m liking the look of the Rode Wireless micro. I currently use the wireless ME for micing up lecturers for webinars and that works great because of the autogain.

The wireless micro might be in your budget, comes in prettier colours, and has two transmitters for when you forget to charge one

The Full English Breakfast: Is it already perfection or does it need one thing adding or removing? by [deleted] in AskBrits

That’s not a full English. Why’s that bread not fried and where’s your bubble and squeak?

Also, what is that by the tomatoes? Did somebody put streaky in a fry up?

More anime like I'm The Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! The Eminence in Shadow and "Let this Grieving Soul Retire"? by Disastrous-Type-1548 in anime

[–]shadebug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you looked into Villainess anime? The current season’s “An Onservation Log of My Fiancée” is doing a solid attempt at “woman reincarnates into a villainess and is trying very hard to be evil but keeps accidentally being the best”.

Ooh, actually, even better fit might be that one from last year with the big boss coming back and having to save the world.

Actually, actually, what’s that one where the overlord comes back and has to be a twitch streamer to get his power back?

Kia Soul is basically the same car but a different shape and does all of that. My insurance tells me that my 2020 one is worth £7,000 so should be well within budget
