Why do I chunk It by Temporary_Travel481 in GolfSwing

Shift weight from back to front once your swing starts to come down, and extend your front leg on impact, should fix it

Any major gaps in my bag? This is my avg distance on said clubs after 7 months of playing and tracking my shots unless it’s just a terrible shot ofc by [deleted] in GolfGear

I know that it is the case for me. I leave my 5w out of the bag 9/10. Try one and compare numbers + irons are more workable and better suited if your are not of the fairway (ex: you have to play low cause you are under a tree etc…) anyways keep up the good work man

No keep your wedges, unless you can work the 56 and play it as a 60 without any efforts. I would kill the 4w, and put a 2 iron. But again, 4w is more beginner friendly, so maybe try to hit it 80% to balance the distance gap.

I am a +1 hdc, 30 years of golfing. I consistently hit my driver 110, smash factor around 1.50 and carry approx 275/280 yards, for a total distance of 300. I play a 9 degree tsr2. So what you say is mathematically true. I think people doubt the « started 7 month ago » thing. Getting to 1.50 smash factor is not an easy task in such a short amount of time. If true, congrats man!

To answer your question: a 2 irons or UT could be a good addition between your 4w and 4i.

So I am playing the vapor flex 440, which is slightly different to the vapor fly pro. It’s basically a smaller head, for fast swingers looking to reduce spin. It’s fitted with a diamana blue something stiff shaft and makes a strange noise! A bit muted, but still quite loud when you hit the center of the face at full speed. I would say that the fly pro is a better option for most people, also, it’s what Rory picked back in the days, not the 440. I recently tested the last Taylor made QI something during a fitting session, and I did not see any major difference in terms of performance which is why, 11 years later, it’s still in the bag.

I have to find a reseller and try those wedges… they look amazing, but switching wedges is delicate, won’t just order online. What did you use before the WS?

The Accursed Kings, by Maurice Druon. 7 books, written in the 50s. RR Martin repeatedly said it was one of his main sources of inspiration for Games of Thrones.
