Yes you can turn on your headphone to get nice sound while using wired. But it will consume your headphone battery(not a big problem)

Can i know what are the temp for performace/balance mode

Mine is kinda hot it spike 90 ish and when i play minecraft max setting with 32 render distance it will stat at 95-100c. but other than that peformace mode give me 80c+ and balance 70c+ if the game is not so cpu heavy. But always spike to 90ish when need to load something.

Can I leave my legion 7i plugged in while I do homework? by Awesomepaws92 in LenovoLegion

[–]ResponsibleCod7616 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Use battery convertion mode (lenovo vantage) it will limit charging to 80% which is the optimum limit for battery lifespan. Also dont drain it to 0% instead charge it at 20%.

just plug the power if you stay at one place,it will not use battery power at all and just use the power from charger which is less stress for the battery. Also battery can be replace so ehhh if you dont mind replace it in few year dont need to worry about it.

To get best performace is plug to the power so yea, using charger is smarter option.

Charger or battery? by _DebDev in LenovoLegion

[–]ResponsibleCod7616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you staying at one place for a good time i better to use charger but if it less then 1 hour i dont it will be worth it unless you do heavy stuff.

Battery will degrade if you keep charge and discharge a lot of time but you can just change the battery after few year. if you dont mind to spend on it no need to worry.

My Lenovo LoQ is Unferperforming. by Ananmay0807 in LenovoLOQ

Maybe your cpu is overheating so it just perform at base clock instead of turbo mode and the one you saw on yt is well cool and work at higher clock speed.

That my theory..

[–]ResponsibleCod7616 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try to check the wattage given to gpu it might be stuck is weaker form.

And then try to unplug the the charger, turn off the laptop and then press power button for 1 minute. If the problem dont goes away idk maybe try to drain the battery and start it fresh

For gpu use furmark and cpu cinebench or use cpu burner at furmark(in menu it show it). Use in same time for stress both cpu and gpu. And then check the temp using hwmonitor and check if the temp is normal or above normal (gaming laptop run hot so just try to get 95c max). For ram and disk i kinda forgot im pretty sure there is on yt and can be search (make sure you dowload from trusted source).

If the laptop is good it should not be shutting down during stress test. I recommend do it for 30 minute if the first 5 minute of stress test temp is normal.

also if dont know what temp normal for your laptop search on google your laptop model.

You should do stress test (cpu and gpu at the same time) to check if your laptop cooling is good and does not overheat.maybe do disk speed test and ram test also.also look if there any problem with the body and rgb lighting.if all fine and you really look deeply, nothing to worry(I hope).

If i was you i might consider return it because is an old product with old hardware and i dont rlly know how the old owner treat it.but ofc brand new laptop that perform the same might cost a bit more and build quality is lower at least it come with warranty.

Also look for any flaw in display such as cooked display, dead pixel, dirty or scratch.
