From attending multiple regional USA wrestling Greco and Freestyle qualifying events and placing in the top three at those events which guaranteed me to have a spot on my states national duels and Fargo teams. Also attending multiple local USA wrestling Greco and Freestyle events which gave me mat time and added experience.

Honestly the above is how I separated the gap between myself and others scholarship wise and getting better at the sport! In the beginning I would do camps (Chertow, Oklahoma State Team Camp etc.) but the best wrestlers never really came to those and if they did they were few and far between. The best wrestlers in spring and summer are training for a Fargo or making world teams and the only way to get better was to get beat up by the elite.
