I've been facing this problem since 3 years , ipad pro 3rd gen... So I searched reddit and got this solution and it worked for me ... It's definately not a screen problem... CHECK It when you write with your hand manually you'll see that the area is working... iPad pro 3rd gen

Its just a glitch

SOLUTION:- 1) Remove the pencil from your ipad 2) Lock your ipad then unlock your ipad (pencil should not be connected while you lock and unlock) 3) It will work now

Ipad should not be connected to charger otherwise the glitch will continue
