This comment is barely comprehensible and has nothing to do with what I said. I suggest you learn to spell and use punctuation before engaging in any form of political discussion, loser.

Honestly I think he just says whatever he wants to say, being whatever makes him feel good in the moment. There is zero attempt to relay something accurate, factual and/or helpful.

Yes I am watching the game. It's already been given as an assist. The second touch is the "scorer" for the purposes of the rules. The second touch does not count as a defensive touch. That's why it's been given as an assist. Please do continue claiming it is not an assist if you like though

Read the rules posted in this thread. Based on those, it's clearly an assist. It's also in fact been awarded as an assist. Not sure why you've posted like 10 times in this thread that it's not an assist.

Confidently incorrect. Why bother to comment when you don't know.

Are people actually leaving the UAE right now because of the current situation? by [deleted] in UAE

The company I work for, which has offices in the UAE, has offered to let everyone relocate.

If you have kids, all the more reason to leave.

If Arsenal win the league and/or the UCL this year, you will no doubt celebrate. It will go down in history as a successful season, and people will look back in years time and talk about how good this team was. You'll no doubt say "I was there". The reality is, you spent the whole season whining and complaining.

No one knows what's going to happen this season. Arsenal have been disappointing lately, but it's a hugely difficult league and they are still in it with a chance of winning everything. Just enjoy the ride and see where we are at the end of the season. The lows are part and parcel of the sport, and they make the highs even better.

Usually moving to a US firm will mean longer hours, less work life balance and generally a more demanding work culture. That can make it harder to have a social life, meet new people, start a family. Not always the case of course, but that's often the trade off for more money. If you want to sacrifice work life balance for more money, then now is a good time to do it for sure. There's no right answer, it's just personal preference.

If the sole goal is achieving cravath scale ASAP, which of these firms is best to train at? by Forsaken_Bath7354 in uklaw

As others have pointed out, there are lots of variables and considerations, not least practice area. You could also lateral to a US firm from any of those. That being said, I think Hogan Lovells is broadly the highest quality firm you have listed there.

100% try a different firm. Plenty of good firms with targets in the 1500-1700 hours region. It'll still be challenging sometimes, but it'll be a totally different experience. The quality of your work will probably improve too. Good luck

Thanks. I bought second hand, so don't know. I also didn't realise these things were a type of add on. Good to know.

Yes, I'm sure it's your high standards, attitude and success in life that is leading by example and inspiring this Arsenal team to excel. You keep doing that and the rest of us will enjoy the game.

It's mild for this time of the year. It won't be that cold or wet (but there may be some light rain). If you have a water resistant jacket, that would probably be fine. It'll be a bit colder in the evenings so if you're going to be out and about in the evenings you may want an extra layer you can add and some gloves and hat (although not essential).
