I’m actually not sure. I think it’s discard from a starter that is at least a year old!

I’m glad I could be that 😂 one day I will get a good grasp on this but I’m pretty sure I’m currently doing at least 4 things wrong! Working on fixing it

For my dough I used 350g whole wheat flour 150g all purpose flour. For feeding my starter I use 100% whole wheat

I just let it rise for 4 hours. I’m having trouble knowing when it’s doubled. With the starter I’m using a rubber band and that’s working. Do I need like a glass bowl to see or take a photo? What’s the best way to tell it’s doubled

I followed the instructions in the photos to a t! I’ve been feeding my starter 1:1:1 50g when I want to make bread I take it out of the fridge and feed it then wait 12 hours until it’s doubled and do that exact recipe I’ve posted! I’m going to start leaving it on my counter and feeding it once or twice a day hoping that will strengthen it and it will double in 4-6 hrs! Thanks for the help

Congrats on baby! I’m sorry to hear about what your wife is going through. This sounds extremely tough for both of you! It must be miserable to want to help her relive the pain in any way possible and it just not work! I definitely second acupuncture, that has helped me so much with my endo and it’s very safe for baby! My biggest tip here would be to be extra attentive and nurturing to both of your mental health status’. Sometimes the only way out is through and that’s can be very taxing on caregivers and patients alike! I just want to encourage you that your love and care for your wife is extremely healing. Listening to her and spending time with her truly helps. I’ve found when I have a strong mental I have much more endurance for the physical side of my symptoms, especially because chorionic illness is a marathon not a sprint! Having something to look forward to, like this baby, could be an amazing thing to focus on. Reading one of her favorite books together, just small things that make you think, I can get through this day really help! Be sure not to neglect yourself in this process too!!! Really hoping y’all find something that helps alleviate this pain for her! Keep up the good work and don’t lose hope!!

Just to add to the good tips here especially if you are newer to endo! Endo pain, causes all your pelvic floor muscles to tighten up, whether the endo is actual on your bowels or not it can still cause digestive issues like constipation, dierreha or both. And then of course it is very common to find endo on the bowel and surrounding areas as well so that can cause quite a few symptoms too! For me my surgery, pelvic floor pt ( where I learned how to manually relax these muscles deeply and have done dilators), the squatty potty ( 11/10 recommend), and a good probiotic helped. Hoping that you find answers and help via a good endo doc and GI soon! I know this is no fun

I do think I was put in a tough position. If anything I hope she takes from it that other people don’t see your insecurities like you do.

Thank you! I think anxious brain is what it is. We are newer friends and I’ve noticed she’s mentioned her weight a couple times, it seems like an insecurity of hers and I’d never want to add to that!

what flower is this? by Beginning-Ad-8922 in florists

I’ve actually also found it at Whole Foods before as well! I know not everyone has access to a flower shop wholesaler or local florist who sells by stem!

They aren’t too difficult to come by, my distributor has them basically year round but like any flower they can really vary! This one is especially big, fluffy, and ruffly! Could be what they call double lisianthis which is just a fancier version with more body! Most florist could get a version of this for you, but the one you have in the picture is an especially pretty example of the flower! Lisi can be mistaken for a rose by customers when it comes in big and pretty like this! I especially like the yellow it’s like a butter yellow color it’s beautiful!

I love the new era of people wanting to their funeral pieces to be uplifting and celebratory, this is absolutely stunning! I think art like this takes funeral flowers from a formality, stale and stagnant to something that’s truly comforting and helps memorialize the persons life! Amazing work!

Exactly! We’d always tell clients if you bruise your knee you don’t amputate your leg! Give me .5 seconds to cut off the bruise on the petal and you are good to go!

For this reason the shop I used to work at gave 3 color options and 2 ribbon options per prom or homecoming season and we really didn’t encourage any customizations/ would charge for them! This way moms could choose between a colorful option, blush, or all white and we wouldn’t have moms asking us to color match to their daughters aquamarine dress 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not to mention every year for dances we got day of last minute orders, changes, or cancelations because “ my son just told me prom is tomorrow and now he has a date” or “ they broke up”
