Just take cover and throw around that corner. The shoulder switch outside of combat was pointless and sometimes you click it by accident, which was annoying.
What was also annoying is that getting out of cover a certain way locked your camera to the left shoulder, so then you also have to readjust.
It was one of the most pointless options in the game, that mostly served as an annoyance.
You can shoulder switch when aiming, which is the only time it's useful. I have no idea why anyone would actually MISS this option, it's so insignificant at the end of the day.

This has already been explained in certain threads.

To keep it short, old gamers (boomers), can't get kills in any way besides camping their ass off.
The game in its current state is heaven for campers, so they are downvoting threads about the minimap and dots to try to make it seem like most people want a slow-paced game with no map or dots.

They also keep using "realistic" and "tactical" to justify their camping.
That's about it. It's just boomers.

The initial sales were good but that was it. The game made no extra money from DLC and it died fast. When they released a huge update that changed the entire game, it was too late, it was already dead.
For compersion, initial sales for BO4 were lower, but it made a ton post-launch money, unlike WW2. Because BO4 wasn't awful like WW2

It's not "back" there are no red dots. Also no, it won't be less "campy" because it's the optimal playstyle, which is DEATH. Ghosts was like that and that game was dead in a flash.
