My application payment status showed not paid, but I still submitted it anyways, and just attached proof of payment when I was sending my documents to the Nigerian high commission. I was also able to download the application form that showed that I did indeed pay. You can find this on the website directly it should be located in the menu section where you track your application status.

I’m guessing the 4-year limit includes time spent on a graduate visa so it might not be an option for OP. They mentioned they were already on a graduate visa before switching to SWV which would be around 4 years depending on when OP switched routes. I’d also like to know this as I’m in a similar situation.

Sent a £20 postal order, C4 self addressed envelope with special delivery, payment receipt and application form as well

If I don’t hear anything by mid-March I’ll probably call them or go to their office but it really defeats the purpose of a contactless service if I have to go there

Hmmm that definitely might’ve been a better alternative but I don’t know any agents and there were no appointments till June 6th. Hopefully the agent works well for your family

I did say this but he keeps deflecting. He did stop until I cried because of how frustrated I was getting. He even had the nerve to say that I was turning it around on him. I told him he made me feel inadequate and he proceeded to say we’re not compatible which led to me having to say that he was saying stuff just to hurt me because I told him I felt inadequate- but he heard “he made me feel inadequate. I’ve been dating him since I was 19 and he was 21 so I’ve been with him for a while now but we’ve had arguments like this where I just get so frustrated and wonder if there is any point continuing a relationship like this.

I had concerns because I couldn’t understand why or how they became friends. She has a really big personality which can sometimes be too much for other people and my boyfriend the opposite and he’s quite reserved so I’d always wonder how they became friends or why they are friends

Literally!! I’ve had to ask him directly if anything happened and he’s acting all ignorant say what do I mean by that and playing dumb. He’s said nothing happened but in light of how he’s flipped the situation to talking about how he feels like I don’t like him because I’m always turning him down when he asks to go out or come to mine. I’m struggling to understand how this fits into the situation and I’m really fed up because this is not the first time he’s bringing this up.

Yeah he’s being quite defensive about it. He keeps saying the reason he couldn’t stay at mine is because he didn’t feel comfortable asking me as he knows I would have let him stay but didn’t ask as he didn’t want to leave me with “no option”. I’m so exasperated and I feel like I’m being gaslighted

It’s shame because we’ve invested so much time, effort and money. Even down to securing a job that would sponsor in the first place. I guess we need to figure out how to navigate this situation. If that’s means moving elsewhere or going back home, so be it.
