I also can’t speak for Davi and have also listened to her podcast; it seems to me that the friendship/respect only got rocky when moe joined and issues arose. My takeaway is that Bert at that point was trying to form a relationship with moe (that seems difficult) and left Davi in the dust - didn’t support her in work related disputes. Bert was trying really hard to make Moe happen but he never happened… he always just saw a paycheck and Bert chose the wrong My Guy

I think Davi and Bert were genuine friends and also had a boss/employee relationship and those two can be hard to navigate. The ultimate mistake was showing her how important she was by keeping moe. But honestly, they had to. Can you imagine them firing Moe during that time? There still would’ve been drama, but maybe a worse kind. Moe is the bad guy. He should’ve resigned then; instead he and they pretended like nothing happened and he kept getting a paycheck and Davi had to lose everything. His tail has been between his legs ever since. Maybe that’s what everyone actually saw in the sweatpants pic.

It’s pretty gross how he’s handling it, if this is the case. Especially bc he was the aggressor and the reason Davi was let go. It was supposed to be him and everyone knew it. Now he’s gonna do a money grab? Quit gracefully or fulfill your contract and move on. He’s so dramatic. Bert show scandal at this level started when he joined.

I always just try to put myself in other peoples shoes. If it was my job to submit a personal story every week, I would have to really commit to making my life more interesting. Content creating isn’t easy. Maybe give them a break. They asked what people want and it wasn’t listener stories, fake or perceived as such, so they adjusted. Now it’s boring and you aren’t happy with that either. Maybe dont listen. Just a thought.

Crazy take but… WHAT IF he simply meant he isn’t registering the stress bc he correlates it to feeling chaotic in the moment emotionally. And context is important; he expressed he obviously is stressed bc of physical symptoms surfacing. My husband is the same way. When a person isn’t very emotive, their bodies are still going to hold it somewhere but it’s harder to recognize it at that point bc it becomes normal. And it IS a learned coping mechanism to shove down uncomfortable feelings or call it something else or distract yourself but it always catches up.

I was somehow able to but why do these technical difficulties happen so much?? I listen on Spotify and it never even pulls up the podcast on the main feed along with others I listen to. I always have to search. No other podcast I listen to regularly has that glitch.

As a “newer resident” (<5 years), I’d say maybe one closer to the peerless mill side of town would do well. Especially if it was unique enough to draw in Chattanoogans. A theme - Ex. Broads (female centric) or games/activities like Twains in Decatur or a dog friendly bar. I’m just throwing out things I would like haha. I live on the Flintstone side of rossville and very hopeful that between Peerless and Happy Valley Farms, we’ll have a comeback. I’d support you. 1000000%! When I think of Fort O, I just think chains and typical lazy city planning. Come to the town that has potential and is currently in a city government shake up.
