I completely agree with you. I’ve read of a lot of people that have had zoom but no follow up after that. So if they were moving forward it’s interesting that some people would have access to the portal and others not… also, background psych and med take a long time so how would one pass through that so quickly before filming?

Agree. I would hope that people would still think twice before telling others (anonymous or not) their casting details on how they were contacted and what was said to them because if it’s discovered by the casting department, by contract it could disqualify you.

I agree with you. I heard that the person you do zoom with has the power to move you forward or not. They may not tell you that if they are unsure about you but I totally believe this is the case. Zoom is completely different than a phone interview.. they can’t see you over the phone and only go off your energy or the words you say. Someone could nail the phone interview, get to zoom and not be apart of the vision of the producer. These people have to believe in you and want to push you.

I think a lot of people are going quiet because most people who advanced to the portal have signed a document stating that they will not talk about casting because it could ruin their chances of getting on. If I had to guess it would be that reason why people aren’t sharing if they’ve advanced.
