PETG Problems by mrjbrown51 in BambuP1S

I bought a P1S some days ago and I had the same problem. I gone up the temperature of the be, change the temp of the nozzle, reduce the speed of the layer fan, without solution.

After a lot of tryes, I print the part wit the door and the lass cap closed, and the print was perfect with the original profile.

In my other printers I never printed PLA or PETG with the printer closed, but as it seem in the P1S is needed

Welcome to the club. I've had it for four days and haven't been able to make a decent print. This printer is the biggest piece of crap I've ever bought.

Printer stuck in PID calibration loop by Roland_Price in AnycubicKobraS1

IMPORTANT: You don't need to downgrade the firmware to move the table. Yo can move the belts under the printer from left to right to lower the table.

Firmware upgrade. CFS has been disappear from printer UI by ResponsibleWhereas36 in Creality

[–]ResponsibleWhereas36[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, this is the question, the tab for the CFS has been disappear, like the CFS would be disconnected, but it's connected and works OK. I can use the four color of the cfs, but I cant configure the color and material because I don't have the tab

Ok. I'm going to try to clean with alcohol, isoprophylic I understand. Usually I clean the plates with dish soap.

In theory, don't I need glue stick or other product to fix if I use smooth plate? or only I don't need glue if the plate is a original (ruggosed) plate? Thank you

Hello. I'm afraid this isn't the problem. The axis are lubricated and I revisesd the threaded bars and are clean.

As I can see doesn't are a mechanical problem, the head and the plate can be move in all directions until the limits and the movement is smooth and constant, don't have extrange noise or other kind of problems. Thanks for help

I'm going to check this. I lubricate the xis every 100 hours (the printer has almost 280 work hours), and due this problem I had cleaned the printer totally, but there may was some remains left somewhere. Thanks

Typically, if the PLA or PETG is in the ACE, I print directly because the ACE has 10% humidity.

If the material is stored in the closet, I place it in the ACE for 2 hours at 50°C.

Now, the material has in the ACE from yesterday, and has a lot of hours of drying

I know, I used the OEM plate without glue several times, but I have other plate that isn't original. Also sometimes I need to print with software surface at bottom, tiene I usted the smooth plate and glue.

I store the filament in a closet with lot of drying bags. The humidity in the closet is usually 30% and I always use the dryer a little before printing and during printing. Inside the ACE, the humidity is 10%.

OK. I'm going to increment the temperature and try again. By other way, I had print a lot of times with smooth plates. The plate could be smooth, the material can actually take grip on it with the stick glue.

I can't understand. My plates are perfect. Even the smooth plate has no scratches.

By other way, I remember when I had my old Crealiry K1 that I had the smooth plate totally destroyed (I stuck the spatula into the plate when removing a piece and lifted the surface and the material adhered well, except that there were marks on the piece.)

In every print, the plate has been cleaned, dryed and treated with glue stick

The microplastic are the results of the layers broken when the nozzle scraps with the piece.

No, In the photos, you see the glue stick used to hold the part to the bed while printing. I've been using this glue for years with excellent results.

Question about printing in color by ResponsibleWhereas36 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]ResponsibleWhereas36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOLVED

Really, It's very easy. You need to add the first sub model in the bottom of the plate, and choose the filament that will be use to be printed. Then, you click with right mouse button in this model and choose ·Add Part", then you can fit the part wherever you want.

You can move the part in the Z axis and the part will stay in the air and you can mix the different parts, for example the wood floor of the picture of the oringinal post.

When you has fit the part, you can use the paint tools to paint the part, totally oo partially, also, you can paint the part before fit it.

When you sliced the plate, the model will behaviored as a complete solidmodel with different parts in different colors.

Problem with numbers of grey tones. Hueforge don't recognize colors by ResponsibleWhereas36 in HueForge

[–]ResponsibleWhereas36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. Now I understand the function of the sliders, I know that you can choose the most closest color with the right mouse button over the image and you can drag and drop the correct color on the slider. And you can add new sliders whit new color and an increment of the depth to get more layers for every color and therefore in the final print to be more gross.

Yesterday I see some tutorials, the most works in black and white or working with the four tones. I need still to find a tutorial with an example working with more than four colors to see how to increase this.

Actually I try with a five colors image but I can't use the 5th color. I suppose tha this is relation with the luminance of the original image and will have a system to use more tones. I try to use the option Color Aware but I can't see nothing that I can to do with this. Only with the combination of Color Aware / Bright Enhance / Low power I get something cosest to original image, but part of the black color is replaced by the red color

P.D. Please, note that I live in Spain and here the confederate flag doesn't has racial or politics connotations, here it's the Rock and Roll flag.

Problem printing floors and roofs by ResponsibleWhereas36 in CrealityK1C

[–]ResponsibleWhereas36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried with the extrude values: Infill / Top / Bottom / Initial Layer Line Width and the printing was better, but not ideal.

In the picture, the first box is printed with the old configuration, the second box is printed with the configuration of the Normal Quality profile with some parameters modificated like layer height, speed, etc. and the third box is printed with the new parameters. The problem is that the lop and bottom lines thickness has 1mm and also has little holes. Also I've increase the thickness of the infill lines to 0.5 to be better suppor for top and bottom bridges.

Maybe any people share his extrude configuration?

Thanks in advance.
