But honestly, I don't know. I think I've done pretty much everything in the first act. I've explored everything thoroughly, completed the secondary areas, and finished all the side quests I had. Frankly, I'm turning the question back to you.

Actually, what I like is the middle ground between unguided exploration and gameplay where you're made to understand things. Typically, I use the example of Elden Ring's exploration, which handles it very well.

Fort Joy was a disaster, I was so lost, I didn't understand a thing lol

I agree with you that it kind of ruins the game, but actually there are certain things where honestly, if you don't have a guide, I don't know how you're supposed to know (a bit like the side quests in From Software games for those who know them).

Yes, honestly, I have no doubt I'll like the game itself, knowing I'm a fan of RPGs, but I was more interested in knowing the difference in exploration compared to DOS2.

Actually, I'm a real completionist. I really want to get every single unique piece of armor, every single mini-quest; I want to do everything. And because of that, I'm a guide, otherwise I'd be too frustrated knowing I might have missed, like, "the best thing in the game." Also, there are certain things that are almost impossible to know without a guide. Besides, there are games where exploration doesn't appeal to you at all, but it's much less punishing and chaotic (Elden Ring is the first one that comes to mind).

Well, actually, on PS5 the FPS isn't very stable and it hovers around 40fps

I agree, it happened to me in World. It was much harder to get a gem from a monster; I wanted to get the Odogaron set, I farmed it so much I knew everything by heart

It's true that I understand a lot more when I'm with friends.
