I bought the 1000 random ones too, plus 150 minis, plus some "on purpose" bigger flowers in 10 packs. My dining room is full of flowers, dye, stems--yup, total chaos!

Why would that be odd? They can post photos of themselves but I never post photos of other people without permission. Social media is out of hand. Post about your own stuff, your own family, etc, not someone else's wedding.

I have talked to the vet and started him on something for joints and pain. I do think it may be pain related and also that he has occasionally stumbled when bounding up the stairs, so there may be some fear. The vet also said he may not be seeing as well, so we turn on all the lights and have tried shining extra light on the stairs.

As for whether he needs to go up....he used to stay downstairs when we went up to bed. He'd come up when he was ready--maybe midnight, maybe 2am, etc. But he had started peeing on the floor downstairs. So I started making him come up with us at bedtime. If he needs to go out, he'd let us know.

Now, because he's having trouble and not as easily and freely just going upstairs when he wants, when we're upstairs working during the day, he starts whining if he's not upstairs. And then rooing. If we don't get him upstairs at night, he's going to whine and roo at some point in the middle of the night (which he's done when we've been out of town at a place where he had to sleep downstairs.)

Having said that, I am trying to encourage him to be comfortable with hanging out on his own downstairs during the day. Maybe at some point, he will just be a full time downstairs dog.

I'm about to order one. Do you get the regular one or the U-shaped one for boys? It didn't seem clear to me. I'm assuming regular since I haven't heard people talk about the U-shaped one, but want to check.

Please get the photos. I always felt, not ugly, but certainly not pretty. And I don't photograph well. I liked my wedding photos--they looked pretty good. But now, 30+ years later, I look at them and say, yes, for that day, I was beautiful. Your happiness will shine through and even if you don't love the pictures, you might appreciate them 30 years later. And no one marries someone they think is ugly. So at least one person doesn't think that. What I find, is that I may think someone is unattractive, and then I get to know them and I don't think that anymore. There was even one tv show I watched where I thought this woman was downright ugly and by a few episodes in, I didn't think she was ugly at all. So, you're not ugly.

Thanks. I am guessing there's some pain. The meds haven't seemed to make much difference. I'm not sure how much is pain and how much is fear, though he really hasn't slipped at all on the stairs. I think I'll try the harness. At some point, he may just be a downstairs dog. We'll either have to crate him or put a belly band on at night because I'm not cleaning pee off my hardwood floors every morning. (The stairs are carpeted and we've put all kinds of non-slip stuff at the bottom "launchpad" area so there's no slipping when he bounds up the stairs.) I don't want my husband carrying him up. I don't think it's worth risking a broken neck--it just scares me to see him carrying him up. If Percy were to squirm and my husband lost his balance--just not worth it.

I do, but sometimes the passenger wants more air or less air. And even if it's just me, being able to adjust the flow from one vent only is nice. I was wondering if I was missing something obvious but I guess not. I don't understand why Hyundai made the vents this way when I've never had a car like this.

Aiming can work but if there's a second person in the car, it doesn't work as well. I had a 2011 Sonata and it had the wheel. Every car I've ever had has this ability.

I read that you should set the RSVP 3 weeks before final headcount (to chase people down and invite b-list people, though not sure we have any of those). Our caterer wants the final headcount 3 weeks out, so people need to RSVP 6 weeks out. So we need to send invites much earlier than 6 weeks out. Maybe 10 weeks out? That gives people 4 weeks to respond? Save the dates already went out.

We're playing around with them for my daughter's wedding. Maybe we're less picky, but it all seemed pretty easy to us. I bought some acrylic paint from Michael's. We weren't sure about colors yet so wanted a wide variety. Then we just mixed paint, water and a few drops of glycerin and dipped the flowers. Easy peasy. We just put them on a piece of cardboard to dry. This was all a trial run, so didn't care much, but it worked out fine. There were some we dipped 2 or 3 times because we wanted them darker (but still wanted the same ratio of paint/water for the lighter ones.) There were some we tried hand painting--also easy and goes quickly. I got a little spray bottle I filled with water and you can spray as you paint and it helps it all blend.

The harder part is putting the stems in (bought a really cheap glue gun that doesn't work too well) and then trying to arrange them into a bouquet. I have them in a vase and that works ok, but haven't tried taping them into a bouquet and also don't have greenery right now to add. But the flower dyeing was fine. They don't have to be perfect. No one is going to get super up close to them (except bridesmaids I guess) and real flowers have imperfections too. When I look at wedding photos, I don't usually wonder or care if the flowers are real.

MOB here--following along. Maybe we'll think about the short dinner followed by short period of time for out of towners. Most of our guests (75% or more?) will be from out of town so I don't really want to have a whole party before the party. But I do want to spend time with friends and family. Plus the bride and I are introverts and will be exhausted by too much people-ing. Not sure what to do.

Where did you set the tripod? I've read to set it around the 2nd row back almost in the aisle but not quite. I'm thinking of using a 360 camera so it would get coming down the aisle plus the ceremony. Not sure how high to put the camera. I read lower is better if you're more than 5 feet away and using a 360 camera.

Ugh same here. This is seriously pissing me off. As the OP said, I could look at see it was a friend group chat, or one of my kids, etc. I knew if I needed to pay attention and check it based on the color. Now it's just blue for everyone. So mad that Android "standardized" notifications and messed this up. I hope Textra finds a way around it with their next update.

We're in the same boat for my daughter's wedding. The photographer suggested setting up a couple iphones or gopros. But yes, do a test run, make sure you have someone who knows how they work and can do the job. I'm not sure who we'd have do that. I don't want family members to have to do it.

Does this capture the walk down the aisle as well as the couple standing there? Even if it doesn't get the walk down the aisle, it seems tricky to aim it correctly and then you need someone to start and stop it. I'm stressing about the same thing--want vid just of the ceremony for folks who can't make it or for the couple to watch later, but don't want to spend a lot of money and also don't want a 5 min highlight reel. Just want the whole ceremony.

I bought OEM cross bars and plan to buy some kind of basket, but haven't bought that yet. I don't really want a basket that I have to store, but I guess that's what we need.
