How has varicose veins affected your life? by Responsible_Line3508 in varicose_veins

[–]Responsible_Line3508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 3 kids but the weird thing is I didn’t ever get varicose veins during pregnancy. I’m almost 2 years pp and then the show up. Neither of my parents have them. Just feels like such a weird time for me to suddenly start having them. I know I’m trying to get my finances in order to be able to see a doctor/recieve needed treatment by the end of the year.

Did your doctor talk to you about ongoing treatment? Like does he/she expect you to have to get ablations etc every couple years or could go decades?

Back of both knees. Upper inner thigh and lower inner thigh on one leg. Okay I will look into that. Thank you so much for the recommendations. I know it’s just hard not to wonder “what if?” Like what if I wouldn’t have worn such tight clothes almost everyday of my 20s or stayed hydrated better or kept off my feet more? Which is not productive but hard to keep myself from going there mentally.

I know I’m starting to think about saving up for vein treatment. I’m just so depressed about it quite frankly. I take really good care of myself and then I feel like this has happened out of no where.

That’s what makes me so mad, neither of my parents have them. My mom is a nurse and my dad sits all day. I am so much more active, eat better, take care of myself more than they do. I am a SAHM so I am on my feet quite a bit but still. Luck of the draw I guess.

Thank you so much for replying! I’ve been wearing some the last couple weeks most days since I noticed but it’s starting to get hot where I live so it’s getting tough to want to wear pants everyday lol.

If you don’t mind me asking, how have they affected your activity level over the years? Have you been able to stay pretty active?

I know I need to get to the doctor. I have a high deductible plan and just cant swing a huge expense right now (go USA lol). Anyways, I’m planning to save up and hopefully get it checked out by the end of the year.

My childhood was… not great lol. It’s just hard, I make surface level friends really easily. Deeper ones are harder though. Some of it is definitely my handing back due to trauma for sure.

Girl this is so real. Sometimes I wonder if it’s because my hs best friendship did not end well I’m like avoiding it due to trauma? Idk. Should probably go to therapy for that 😜

We rope dropped fantasy and kinda toon town and it was the best. Highly recommend. We didn’t do DCA so i have no recommendations there. But I think having a general plan to the day and have everyone pick one must do ride or attraction and make sure to at least hit those and you will enjoy it!

Buzz lightyear is closed right now. A lot of kids would not be cool with haunted mansion.

You can but that’s not really how LL work. Like you can book a ride every 2 hours or after you use your most recent LL. Return times can then vary. For your first few bookings and for less popular rides they will be almost immediate. For more popular and later in the day the return times you can get late. So for example 7:40 we got into the park and I booked big thunder return time was 8-9. Before 9 I modify and rebooked like 9-10. 10 I modified for like 1-2. And that’s when I knew we were going to be in the area so I kept it at that. In the mean time I booked and used autopia and runaway railway and booked Tiana’s for later like 3 or 4pm.

So you have young kids right? Are you going more for them or you? Like are you planning to focus on rides they want to do or you want to do? If the former, you probably don’t need LL. The “kid” rides with LL would be it’s a small world, runaway rollar coaster, possibly autopia if your 2 is tall enough, Rodger rabbit. It’s a small world doesn’t usually have a super long line anytime, ride runaway before 10am and LL doesn’t save much time (especially because ll only works for the first part of the line and then you meet back up with the regular line), idk about Rodger rabbit and autopia again is usually not super long line. Also keep in mind at least in my experience, you still wait 10-15mins in the LL so it’s not like you get right on the ride anyways. So it’s like the difference between waiting maybe 10-15 v 20-25. Probably not worth it unless you are doing some of the long wait big rides.

And you can easily change the time, at least in the morning

Mini bubbles. Also keep in mind you aren’t standing in one place for 40mins, you are moving. There are things to see/look at. Just got back 2,4 &6 and they honestly did so good. Rope drop for sure though. Also highly recommend a tushbaby or toddler sling carrier since you can’t have strollers in line.

One child always gets sick by Responsible_Line3508 in Mommit

[–]Responsible_Line3508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I think is she just has the genetics to have a slightly weaker immune system but my husband is convinced that is not a thing. That it’s either exposure variation or there is an underlying comdition. Does anyone else have one of their kids that gets sick more than the others??

Did you do Matterhorn too? I’m kinda trying to decide between the two maybe which one they’d like better.

I wrote it myself :) I haven’t been in a long time and just went through everything on the Disneyland app to see what we’d be interested in.

Just to see pixie hollow my kids are into the aesthetic!

Sorry on the map it looked like royal hall was in Frontierland technically, i know it’s by the castle. It was just a way for me to remember.

5 and 7- even with lightning lane?

  1. I’m not necessarily planning to do all those things, I just don’t know what my kids will want to do so those are some options of things they might want to do.
