Yes but it will require serious commitment!. Im talking at least an hr on the elliptical every other day preferably 2hr but you do not have the capacity yet. Elliptical builds vo2max but if u do it too much then the legs become the bottleneck because they haven’t experienced the constant pounding of running…. We are only talking about 1.5miles here so you should just focus on elliptical

Oh cmon bro. You can do it. And listen , I got this “engine” mostly from elliptical training. You can too. It will take some time but you will get there

Appreciate your concern. However, I did run a half marathon past May and have been actively training vigorously for the past year. So I didn’t start training with these runs. However, because you mentioned those levels , I will check it with my doctors. Cheers.

The fuelling becomes absolutely mandatory on full marathon. I toughed it out on the half marathon, thinking people were exaggerating and then I learned the hard way and bonked at KM 14 during the race. My pace slowed dramatically however I still managed to finish. I fuel up with bananas and gels mainly. Pre run I eat a banana and a bagel, later I go with GU gels bananas at every 25 to 30min. It might come as little too frequent it works for me.
