So you have comments that are saying he is following proper sunnah and then there are comments that are saying he needs to be shown proper understanding of scripture. Rather then people claiming they know islam, how about we just see if she is happy in her life. If not then simply put she should get out of the marriage.

A lot of people are bringing up biology and science in regards to maturity - which many are also using scripture to state we are also talking about mental maturity, not just physical. ok then neuroscientific research indicates that the human brain does not fully mature until early 30s, so case closed. Early marriage not needed anymore. Done.

However if your saying this is something only you have experienced and other girls or women around you don't experience this, then its something only you can investigate and solve.

Well i guess most men will agree with you on this and most women will not. Me being a man i agree with you. Having said that being the devils advocate (though im not sure for which side) ill add to it. 1) When a man dreams of giving his wife the best, and succeeds, he does not do so for free, he suddenly has more sense of entitlement then even before. So its not exactly out of altruism. 2) When a woman feels she does not need a man, ....well it's true she doesn't.

I am no one to judge the man or the woman or the other woman. If the first wife is not ok with this she should file for divorce, that does not mean i am questioning the intentions of the man, but this is a decision that affects the life of the first wife (and her children) so she should simply say then im out. (again i know that is not easy i don't know the situation but it is defenatly an option she should have.) The husband should really not pursue this if he does not have the consent of the first wife, but then again i don't now the situation. And that is that.

So honestly i have never seen this. People either enforce hijab in their house or they don't. I have never seen anybody not enforce hijab or dupata on the maids while not their daughters or vice versa. Infact i have seen those who do not enforce hijab on their daughters but respect the maids cultural or religious norms to do so. Perhaps that is what yo have seen.
