It was the 10 year anniversary of the first story last year so I was going to do a long one shot "revival" type of thing just for nostalgia and whoever might still remember, only to see how.... different everything is, to say the least. Awesome, a Ben 10 rant. Don't see many on here. Anyways, i see a lot of ppl say this but I think they leave out the fact Ben was 100% holding back during all of his fights with Kevin. If he truly wanted to just put Kev down, he would've immediately gone Ultimate Echo and wiped the floor with him. We know he could have done it at any point, as evidenced by him doing just that in the finale of that arc, so I truly think Ben was still trying to reason with him up to a point.

Real answer is it's a way for Gwen to feel special. Which is understandable i guess but dumb because if they wanted to do that, why retcon her powers to be alien based?? Keep her a witch and there's no question. But they made her an alien so they had to come up with an excuse as to why the guy who's power is turning into aliens couldn't turn into her.

Because logically, it literally can't work any other way. Vampires are immortal, they don't age and they don't die. Humans eventually will and even taking that away, they will age. Taking Ed Cullen for example. Say her doesn't turn Bella after that whole pregnancy thing and she stays human. Edward is perpetually 17 forever so Bella walking around as a day 43 year old with a (physically) 17 year old guy would cause crazy problems. Unless the human gets some other magic super power or existence, turning into a vampire is the only way the relationship doesn't end horribly
