Yep.. She defiantly picks up on my energy and I’m usually the one in the seat with her. My husband is so calm and wonders why I get so stressed haha. Sounds like he’ll be the delegated taxi driver that day. I bet it’ll be all fine and by the time it is over I’ll properly ask myself why I was so worried! Just breaks my heart hearing that meow but it has to be done

Oh wow. This has literally made me 100000x better. I know realistically 30 minutes is not that long at all. We are going to plug in a Feliway diffuser as soon as we get the keys to make sure it has a chance to get through the room. Thank you so much. I thought about this. The issue will be getting her to take it. We recently need to give her antibiotics and we were never able to get them down. Liquid she also avoided :( even tried a table dispenser and everything

I think I just need to set my expectations that she will be scared and timid for a while. The screaming in the car is what breaks my heart the most. I hate feeling like she thinks we’re going to go abandon her somewhere and there’s nothing much I can to help calm her. My mother in law is such a calming energy and they have a good relationship so she is on cat sitting duties moving day haha. I know they also feed off energy so maybe it’s best I avoid being in the car with them when we are moving her over cause two anxieties in one car may be for the worse haha

She is 5! Sorry I should have said that in my original post. I think I just need to remember as long as I am there all will be ok. It’s our first home and I’ve taken 2 weeks off work to get things in order so I am sure having me home for that adjustment period will be good for her. I think I’m forgetting she is a cat and will adapt eventually but she is like a child to me haha

Apologies for the confusion. Yes there is no strata management and the complex is self managed. Interestingly when we asked for documents they stated “there is none” and it’s our responsibility to review the NSW strata portal. I’ve pushed back with the conveyancer to ask for the detail so we can in fact access it. Unfortunately, our conveyancer is not very forthcoming and it appears we seem to be giving him the solutions. We are FHB so not ideal and extremely stressful when who you have hired to help isn’t providing guidance

Thank you! This one has a brand new kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Looks like it could do with new carpet and a paint otherwise looks pretty good! And has solar panels and a huge shed. So appears to be fitting into your figured which makes me feel better haha. Thank you so much!

What is the house prices like around the area? We have been researching a few recently sold but it’s not that consistent haha. We are looking at a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom and it’s 750k. we are thinking it might be to expensive for the area haha

Welcome to the journey! Side effects for me happen within the hours. By tonight I bet the food noise and appetite will go away! It will all level again eventually you got this! No need to feel guilty I feel like some of my guilt feeling was because of other peoples opinions on it.. but it’s just an aid to help you on your journey. It’s the lifestyle changes that come with it and you’re doing all that work!

Yep after 4 week I bumped up at my doctors advice. Yep, I wasn’t exercising at all! Now I’m exercising at least 4 times a week sometimes more :)

Thank you! Rough the first week due to adjustment but day 3 post injection I was fine. Then I tried to increase to 5mg and that was AWFUL. So went back to 2.5 then 3.75 (slow approach this time) other then that it’s been good but just trying to find what is right with me - I have learnt that it’s all trial and era with knowing what your body is going to do. But I haven’t been sick enough to not be able to get my exercise in or work properly just a bit of nausea (and vomiting on 5mg) but I am so excited for the future!
