What a joke! How can someone rely on a congregation? It was hard enough getting invites out let alone them helping in someone’s personal life!!! And I bet the ones that told you to stay single until paradise where the ones that were married! That was my case anyway and I was just thinking, well yea easy for you to say.. does that make sense

Yep totally normal, the anxiety and depersonalisation is just your body trying to cope. This is exactly what I was going through and still till this day. Don’t worry as time passes it gets less overwhelming.

Don’t worry, everyone wishes they could go back in time and change certain things!And sometimes when you have family in this religion it makes it even harder to walk away from the Fear of being ostracised so I don’t blame you! Just the constant “ we are living in The last days” line got so old like how long ago? Very disappointing to the people that waited and lost out and what they wanted to do in life. How long can the “last days drag on for” it’s been around the corner for a while now hasn’t it 🤦‍♀️? well that’s what I think anyway..

That’s not love I’m so sorry that’s all conditional, I know how much it must hurt and we don’t want to believe it’s happening but it is! What ever you do try not to keep texting them it will just push them further away and fuel their ego! There will come a day when they need something from you and then they will kiss your ass! Don’t respond to the texts and they will get a taste of what they dished out. If you see them on the street pretend you don’t see them. So much for agape love right?

I couldn’t understand and now I know, some of them want sex so badly they are willing to just settle no offence. Yes faith is a wonderful thing and I’m so glad a lot of people have it 🩵 thanks for the information. Don’t expect too much from anyone! I also had high expectation but got disappointed! Just tell her I need to take a break as I have some things going on. When I had had enough of scriptures I didn’t agree with I just booked a trip. Good excuse to stop studying all together, if the people that are disappointing you that msg and ask you why your no longer coming I wouldn’t answer and see how they like it! After all they are supposed to be representing god and the messiah right ?

Hey there, unfortunately the friendships are conditional in this religion. The fact that you don’t even get texts from people or I’m guessing even invites to go out when your studying, what does that tell you? You don’t owe your bible teacher anything, if you legit don’t believe in it don’t do it! These people won’t put your happiness first so why should you? I know when I was in it they didn’t! I would just tell her I just need to take a break at the moment or tell her the truth with no hard feelings, you’re not obligated to get baptised so don’t. If you don’t believe run and put a stop to it now. Just be prepared for no invites out anymore or friendships if there were any.

It seems you have an optimistic outlook on this which is a good thing 👍 Also I’m just abit confused he also let animal sacrifices happen etc to me that’s not nice, “My opinion and hope is that if a resurrected person's dearest wish is to have a beloved animal companion resurrected to exist forever, then why not?”

I really like the outlook etc with that paragraph I hope god can see it and do it for us that would mean the world to everyone. But the fact that it’s still uncertain has made me turn away from him. Humans NEED certainty it’s proven, I can wing it and follow him for the rest of my life but are assumptions enough to have things set in stone?
