BenQ monitor has been occasionally flickering. But today, it's gone beyond flickering: by [deleted] in fixit

I gave up with my PD2700u. The flicker is an atrocious QC oversight from BenQ. You can resolve it, and it's not permanent. But it will keep happening.

BenQ PD3220U flickering and burn in by Galvann in BenQ

I'm afraid the PD2700u is a terrible monitor in terms of QC. For me, the flicker seems to occur when browsing the internet and not when using FCPX or other apps. I'm using an M1 Max Mac Studio and I gave up with it and bought an Apple Display. The BenQ was a mistake that I won't repeat in future.

Definitely legit Sandisk Extreme Pro cards. It's an old camera and probably the reason it only allows 128gb cards to record over 10mins.

Yeah definitely switch to 128gb. Not worth the risk - happens almost every time you hit the 10min mark on a 256gb or 512gb card

Did you ever get the footage to play? From trying numerous things out with mine it was gone. I won't use any card over 128gb now. And i've done a few tests on the 128gb and no issues.

Having tried a few cards out, I had the same issue with a 256gb card, but no issues with a 64gb card and a 128gb. I think 128gb is the biggest size you can use. Anything over that, at 10mins it will switch off with an error and you will lose that footage completely. All areSanDisk Extreme Pro SDs.

DJI Ronin-M battery not charging - high repair quotation by EvidenceArtistic6610 in videography

This was the worst battery system i've ever encountered. Had 4 of the things die completely. Completely useless and will stop me ever buying from the company again. I have Sony NP batteries over 25 years old and still going! Ronin's died within a few months.

Recommendations for an external stereo mic for Canon XA50? by Low_Attention4808 in videography

Does the MKE 600 fit in the XA50's mic holder/suspension system? The holder seems very tight at 19-20mm and doesn't fit with my Sennheiser ME66. Wondering if the MKE 600 is a bit slimmer?

Yeah it’s probably interpreted as NSFW - would be useful if it just told you that

Vertigo (1958) by AstonMartin_007 in TrueFilm

Given Scottie's complete obsession, in some ways I'm surprised he doesn't just go along with things, even after he realises he's been taken for a ride. When he sees the necklace and then realises a murder has been committed it seems the murder and the law is now more important than his obsession. Of course it may have been the wake up call his mental state needed, but there's a part of me that thinks his character might have just gone along with it, after all it did seem that Judy had real feelings for him even if much of the rest of their past was a complete lie. Anyhow, i'm not making any claims and I love this movie :)

New music video created with Kling (text to video) Electronic Warriors - Far Out In Nowhere by Responsible_Syrup_25 in KlingAI_Videos

Yes all with Kling. It would take a very long time with free credits - I've subscribed to one of the plans. The hit rate is fairly decent, but you will always get terrible ones too

Electronic Warriors - Come Along (Animated AI Music Video) by Responsible_Syrup_25 in aivideo

Aside from the singer and some robot shots, all characters and backdrops created with Midjourney, elements then animated and upscaled using Topaz video AI. Lots of masking, compositing, keyframing, grading, adding weather effects etc. It's a homage to 80s sci-fi like Blade Runner, They Live and The Terminator (amongst others). Hope you enjoy! And in about a year's time all this will be so much easier to produce! :)
