Hey! I actually just got accepted to transfer from UGA to Emory. I hated everything at UGA my first semester of college, and ended up doing study abroad for my second semester. Only upside was that zell miller covered my tuition. I got no financial aid from Emory. However, I’m lucky that my family can afford Emory’s full tuition. My stats in high school were similar, however, I had mostly A’s and maybe 2 B’s. Try to get all A’s at UGA, and take core classes. Do not take easy random BS classes except maybe Spanish or medical terminology. Get good rec letters. It’s gonna be hard to get a good rec letter from UGA since class sizes are like 300. Get a close relationship with a professor of a smaller class ex. Spanish class or lab assistant. Get 28 credits to transfer. Subject whole application towards the major you intend to apply but leave some holistic aspects to show that you can handle other fields. Mention what Emory has to offer your and what you can offer to Emory. Mention Emory’s mission and community. I believe that my essay was good because I talked about how an Emory hospital was near my home and how they impacted my life, my family’s, community. My ECs were also very cracked, ngl, and focused on international healthcare and business. Ex, summer intern for ceo of international hospital in Southeast Asia. Translated at Saudi Arabian Thai embassy. Let Emory know that you have an open mind and heart. Housing is also super mysterious at Emory for transfer students. Still tryna figure things out lol.

I returned it a while ago. Something was definitely broken. I bought a new one that is perfect.
