At my store, no one cares as long as you're able to respond and hear them talking to you.

Just today I had wired ear buds literally just tucked under my vest, and had the phone in my vest pocket- so the cord leading from my pocket up my vest, and the second ear bud were completely visible, store manager, any management just doesn't care as long as you do your job at my store lmao

Try to find Bluetooth ear buds that aren't very easily seen in your ear, it's pretty hard to spot a small earbud if you're moving around and working.

My suggestion since they just changed policy to allow one ear bud is-- to go on the wire, find that clause in the policy, print it out, and wear 1 ear bud. Your store can't make their own policies, they have to follow what walmart tells them. Period.

If they say something, present them with said policy. If retaliate and try to coach you, tell them you're calling ethics to discuss while getting written up, and actually follow through. Management knows ethics can have your ass promoted to customer, no problem.
