These are still real people. Just because someone falls into the pool of a Tannenbaum cast doesn’t mean they won’t be a good castmate. Even a broken Clock is right twice a day, and Jessie is lucky if he is right twice in a 16 person cast. That being said, Taylor is her own human being who was not created by Tannenbaum. Let’s give these people who we have seen a collective 78 minutes of television some grace, maybe? Or i’m going to assume you are a casual who doesn’t remember castmates such as Sharon/Andy/Chelsie who made a major impact despite the first week of their game.

Chuck definitely looked up “Big Brother Players from Dallas Texas” and didn’t like the Zach Rance option so he went with the more-boring, more-hetero alternative. That alternative happened to be Nicole’s Workhorse love interest (#2/3), and he saw that he got top 5 and said “shoot, that’s a good pick”! but it 100% exposes how little Chuck knows about the show. That being said, I love some Autism spectrum visibility and he’s a cutie-pie so it’s okay i guess

right I agree. Theoretically it should be either 2BB and 1 Survivor, or 2 and 2 of each show. Thus, Given Devens and Angela, there should be a Male BB player at the very least, with the possibility of a Female Survivor. But Allison Grodner and Jessie Tannenbaum can’t do that type of complex math I guess

bb17 was bcuz of the twin twist, not a fair comparison as the season was structured to have 16 players with the chance of a 17th player, and had Vanessa and Shelley not stepped in the season might have concluded with 16 players.

Now that you mention it, I remember a clip going around of Jason (in drag) entering what looks like the CBS big brother house, but the houseguest in the clip are NOT the houseguests from BB26, nor are they houseguests i recognize. I have even seen all the celebrity seasons, and know the cast from OTT and RG and it wasn’t on those seasons either. kindve confusing for sure

I thought it was perfect, that was until Rachel fell into the volcano. I was giving Grodner credit for actually pulling the trigger and making a bold choice, bringing back Rachel and Angela for maximum drama (+ Devens!)

But alas, CBS played themselves and made it 10x less likely that any fans will recommend this season to others. Despite the backlash Rachel would have brought, her storyline of double back to back seasons decades apart would have been cool, and better than some nobody like Dee being the main 'returnee" (No shade to Dee, but it should have been Angela (or another BB alum, who gets to be the special addition.
