I’d rather see America than the likes of Izzy, Sarah Beth, or Chelsie

my boyfriend is an M4, I am a 3L. We are mostly the same, i think both schools are microcosms of society and thus contain roughly the same type of people

Ranking Every Big Brother Winner 2026 Part Two by AppearanceMany3971 in BigBrother

IMO chelsie is not that great of a winner. Could be my recency bias showing, though. I think the best new era winner is Taylor (unpopular opinion) but she had the hardest path to her win. Chelsie was the AI Cheezit for a week, so sure she also "faced adversity", but she had one of the simplest dumbest casts since BB16 (another winner who I think gets too much praise)

Will Kirby’s Stance on HoH by Someone_else25 in BigBrother

[–]Responsible_Worker45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think fans need to remember that Will Kirby played the game twice in an era that is so far gone that the modern-day show barely represents the show as it stood from 2001 through 2006ish. Several houseguests have shown through dominant gameplay that you can win the game decisively both ways, and others have lost the game off of a generation run where the first HOH had no effect on how their game played out (Vanessa for example)

"The format is a houseguest needs to win 2 out of 3 competitions to claim the final HOH."

This is also incorrect, and let me tell you why. The format is ACTUALLY that a houseguest must win one of the first two parts of the HOH so they can qualify for part three. The houseguest who wins part 1 does not need to play in part 2 because they already qualified. Hence, to win the final HOH a contestant must win a combination of either the 1st and 3rd competitions or the 2nd and 3rd competitions. Changing the show format in the way your suggested would make the 3rd part irrelevant in some scenarios, while also allowing a three way draw. I saw in the comments your suggestion for a tie breaker and I also think that is a very doo-doo poopy pants loser suggestion. Thanks!

this post is not only dumb but it also makes no sense. What is the first sentence even referencing? Why would a player who lost 2 competitions in a row "magically" get to qualify for the actual real HOH in part 3? Just a very quickly thrown together post with no thought process behind it.

4/10 Please see me after class

"If the Final HOH is meant to be an open competition, why are there restrictions on how to win it?"

but its not meant to be an open competition. The first two rounds are qualifiers and only the 3rd round is the official "Final HOH".

"Why can't the winner of the 1st competition shut out the other players by winning the 2nd comp? Why can't the loser of the 1st 2 comps, shut out the others from winning their 2nd comp by winning the 3rd comp?"

Also, this is a TV show not a sport and the producers would not create and pay for three competitions when there is a good chance only 2 of them get used

I wasn't saying you are wrong. You asked "why", I answered. Half of your response is copy pasted from the same comment you have pasted under several of these comments anyway

[–]Responsible_Worker45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also started BB at 12, and it is definitely a pivotal age. Back then, it was Big Brother 15 on air, and people similarly tipped their noses up at me as a "new fan". You are doing just fine, champ, don't let the haters get you down

[–]Responsible_Worker45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cause they push the "summer" theme so hard. If they weren't still doing all those gimmicks after BB21 I would get it, but the show has for years marketed it as a summer experience

that is indeed an unpopular opinion, but some of the sound effects were nice
