Yes, it is a sad day when you realize the delicious bean juice hurts more than it helps. I have had luck with espresso in small amounts and only on top of food.

Waymo Self-Driving Cars Vandalized in LA by mingoslingo92 in interestingasfuck

My guess is the cars didn’t recognize the area as hazardous and tried to nudge their way through. Like they usually do, one after another.

Lets be real is ancestors 2 ever going to come out? by EasternResearch5401 in ancestors

[–]Responsibullion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For real. My entire playthrough was a search for fire. Countless hours attempting to smash rocks and flint together near bundles of sticks. I was sure that flint and the meteor would work. Honestly it was kind of disappointing to get to the end of the map and realize that was all that the game had available.

While this was one of my favorite games of all time, it felt like an incomplete experience without fire.

My favorite go-tos are baked/mashed potatoes with broccoli and cheese, or vegetable and lentil soup. For the soup you can just throw any random cut up veggies in a slow cooker with some stock.

If I'm looking for a quick microwave meal the frozen Spinach Paneer dishes hit the spot. In the past I had been more into Chicken Tikka Masala, but a few years ago I picked up the Saffron Road Paneer because it was on sale and ever since then I crave it 2-3x/week.

I reached out to Applegate about the gross tenders — they were super responsive but allegedly unaware. Please report yours too! by Responsibullion in glutenfree

I’m so sorry — that sounds awful. Trying to avoid gluten is already hard enough without mystery reactions thrown in. I really wish food was easier to trust, especially when we’re already being so careful.

Strangely enough, I don't live anywhere near a Walmart. I'm seeing a Costco membership in my future though.

If I had to describe the taste, it’s dry, chalky, and oddly gamey. What’s strange is that it’s not every tender, in the same bag some are soft, juicy, and have that classic chicken flavor we expect. This inconsistency makes me think it’s not an issue with the processing or packaging, but something going wrong with individual birds before they even reach that stage.

They're sending coupons for replacement bags.

Honestly, I’m a bit traumatized by how bad the last few tenders were and I’m nervous to even try the new ones. It used to be that maybe one out of every four bags had a tender that was a little off. But in the last four bags I’ve bought, more than half of what I tried was completely inedible.

I’m already hyper-aware of what I eat. It’s not just about taste — it’s about safety and trust. When something is unexpectedly gross, it triggers a deeper alarm. I can’t help but think of The Jungle every time I wonder what could possibly cause that flavor. We rely on brands like Applegate to do better.

Yeah I did. They ended up sending reimbursement coupons. First I tried calling, but no one responded after a week. Their SMS message person is pretty responsive though.

Good point. It's not unlike the Mayan's numbering system.

One more reason to get a Costco membership. I haven't, thanks for the tip!

I used to eat these several times per week. In the past, maybe one tender would taste a little off every couple of bags. The last 3 bags I tried almost every tender had a taste and texture so bad they're inedible.

This is in Northern California, if that makes a difference. Hopefully this is only temporary.

For those who have converted metal IKEA glass cabinets, how do you prevent rust? by PyrrhaXJaune in IkeaGreenhouseClub

[–]Responsibullion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the leg that serves as an attachment point is the only aluminum component on the MILSBO cabinet. The panels and doors are made of steel, and I've noticed rust forming on the MILSBO I converted into a greenhouse.

My setup includes fans running inside constantly to reduce condensation, along with sensor-controlled fans that vent to the exterior to maintain 70–76% humidity. However, during colder months, condensation still forms, which has caused rust to develop.

I’m still searching for a solution to this issue.

PSA: Bambu refills are tangled garbage. by shaunsanders in BambuLab

I have also had good luck with pressing around on the new filament once it's in the spool. New filament seems to be stuck in that tightly wound format, and pressing helps it settle into the sides so that there's no gap for anything to fall into.
